I personally have cut back a bit due to the economy and the expense of our wedding. Working in retail, I can tell you that people have been cutting back. The customers who usually make multiple item purchases are now paring down to a single item.

I've always been frugal and have always taken advantage of huge sales and coupons so I really don't feel as though I need to cut back. This really applies to everything in my life (groceries especially).

Well I guess since DH and I bought me a new car... I guess we aren't cutting back too much. But we eat at home a lot more and rent movies. We use the blockbuster in the mail thing and exchange in the store for free. Saves money on going to the movies. We still like to go out once in awhile but we keep it low key, at least we are a low key couple.

Yes,unfortunately I think it is foolish not to.

I haven't bc of the wedding I just had...but I am really going to try to ..it is hard to know where to cut though

I'l be honest, with the whole name change I'm realy going through my credit cards and finances in general and making changes and goals. Also this Christmas I have accepted I just can't be a generous as I have been in the passed. I am cutting back on eating out and going out in general, but I'm doing that because we want to save more money in general rather than afraid of the economy. SO I guess it's a win-win situation.
