Have you had your inlaws over since you've been married?

Just curious. We haven't. I told Dh we could have them over for dinner, but he hasn't pushed the issue. He knows I really dont' want to. We only had his mother over last year for Thanksgiving when we were engaged. I have no desire to have them over. Yeah, I'm a b!tch.

my inlaws live in ireland, so no. we also have a gross old nasty apartment and im embarrassed to have people over anyway. fingers crossed for a house soon!!

Oh yeah, she lives upstairs!! All good tho, I have a great MIL. Had a whole bunch of family and friends over for the holidays. First time DH and I have been able to host. NYE was a bit tight when we all crammed into the living room to play Scene It, but it was fun!

We have had them stay with us (they live in SC) they were just here for Christmas, Im in the rare breed that actually enjoys her ILs....they give me no reason not to like them

We see them all the time; they come here, we go there. We live only 10 min away and I like my IL's-not to live with them lol but visit sure.

they came out to visit us here in CA in october and stayed for a week

Whenever they are up from Florida they always come by for alittle bit. But they have never stayed by our Apt.

They don't live locally so we don't see them that often but they were here shortly after we got married.

She came to visit us in FL for Xmas and since she lives on Long Island and we live in FL we only see her a few times a year.

We've seen them once but we go to them and not the other way around. This way it is easier to make a getaway should one be needed.

nope, but they live almost 2 hours away, and they never really drive down here. We go visit them quite a bit though.

I get along with my in-laws very well. We had them over for NYE. They actually live upstairs from us, So we see each other almost everyday. I have NO reason not to like them, they have helped my husband and I alot, and my MIL also watches my youngest son Blake when I work everyday. They truly are heaven sent, and I love them!!!! I actually feel sorry for people who don't get along with their inlaws. We're all living on borrowed time, so to be a b!tch solves nothing. Thats JMO

We had them over but really just to stop by before we went to an event. So no cooking or anything. I invited them over for Labor Day but they were in Colorado. I tell DH to invite them over but I think he likes to unwind on weekends and not host company.

Yes she's been here a few times. She lives around the corner.

yes - i actually want my MIL to visit us often because she loves to clean and organize....for a busy couple like us - it a huge help

My MIL came over once for a VERY short time- THANK GOD!! Too much of her makes me wanna PUKE
