HELP HELP... UPDATE...

John works for Sanitation....

somehow he got some sort of spray glue adhesive all over his arms and face and hair.

does anyone know what could remove this stuff??

I'm not positive what kind of spray glue it was... the phone call I received was minimal because he had to go.

PLEASE HELP!!

I really don't want him to have to shave his head.. I like him a lot more with hair!!!


Sooo the baby oil worked!! yay!! if anyone ever get's attacked by a can of elmer's glue... baby oil works!1

Oh and Hunts Point Teachers... and all teachers in general... PLEASE DO NOT PUT AEROSOL CAN'S WITH REGULAR GARBAGE.. they don't go there... and the can's combust..... and our garbage men can get seriously injured.

i can give him these wipes that we have that gets rid of EVERYTHING

oh no!!!!!!!!

i would think some kind of oil...baby oil...or maybe even wd40...

i dont think nail poish remover would hurt the face if u dd it light...


if its in his hair..and u might think im nuts put what if u freeze his hair..like with ice cubs..it might harden then u could pick it out

OK so i found out more stuff.. he just got home..

it was elhmer's spray glue adhesive. i use that stuff for crafting and it's intense!

he was doing bronx 2 which is the hunts point area garbage.... and he was doing the school garbage... the TEACHERS put the aerosol can in with the regular garbage... and when he threw out the garbage... the can combusted all over him. its all over his face, eye, neck, hair, arms, etc. it's pretty bad. his arms look like a chemical burn... all the hair has been ripped out. he looks like a mess.

we were going to go food shopping too. haha! guess we have another type of project to do first!

thats so nice of you to offer.

he is in the shower with baby oil and a rag.. haha! that could so go the other way too!! if that doesn't work then we might have to swing by. it's looking like a pretty desperate situation!!

hate to say it but sometimes people forget that its humans picking up the garbage and they can get hurt!!!!!

2 years ago someone put huge shards of glass in a blag back didnt lael it and when tommy picked it up a peice broke through cut his leg and he needed 21 stitches!!!!

glad he is glue free!!!!!!

Wow... Sorry I wasn't on earlier..

BabyOil is great for lots of stuff.. Wax, Glue and any other adhesive..

I would of post earlier if I would of read what happenned.. Good thing its off now..

That seriously s u c k s but as a teacher I can tell you that there is only ONE can per classroom. There are no recycling options in public schools for bottles/cans/etc. Sorry Kerri and I hope it all comes out for him!
