I like the dress. I know what you mean about trying it on before you buy it. But if you dont like it send it back....NOT trashy at all

Grrrr!

Got the BR dress and it fits all wrong - so it has to go back. Ugh! I really need to find something to wear and this is so not fun anymore!

So now that i have been looking, i havent had much luck finding a white dress that is appropriate and looks good on me. Im thinking of maybe getting a suit at Ann Taylor now...but it looks like i might be out of luck there too!

Any other suggestions? I really want white or ivory or something that at least has white in it.

Even though I havent found a dress, I really want these shoes:

I booked the chapel yesterday (www.cupidswedding.com). Im going to spend a few more bucks on a nicer bouquet since this is probably my last chance to enjoy one. Depending on what dress I get, Im thinking of these:

Thansk Jen. I found the one with the cap sleeves. The BCGB material is really stretchy and shows every buldge. It looks great on the slim but I cant wear it

I wish that I had the bod to pull off that long white dresss

that is really beautiful.
LOVE the shoes Stef and the Posy boo-k. You already did red so I think you should do something different this time.
I also think the Ann Taylor suit is beautiful. Maybe call some of the NYC stores and see who has one.
Does this dress have to be white? Lots of Vegas brides wear color.

I would really prefer to wear white or ivory or maybe pink. I have dresses in other colors but its just not the look im going for. I have a dress designed in my head that would be perfect but I dont want to spend big bucks having something done custom..especially in light of the kitchen remodelling job we are probably going to do.

What about a white jacket and black pants with the white shoes?

You know, Stef...the black and white idea is something to consider! Since you're doing this in October anyway...Bloomingdales did a fall preview today and the 'hot' fall trend is black and white (no joke!) So, maybe you can consider that?

LOVE the flowers...and I agree w/Michele...go with something different from the red b/c you want this to be so different than what you already had.
