I met my husband through a close guy friend. I was dating my current boyfriend (of 4 years) and he was dating his current girlfriend (1 1/2 years). We both broke up with our significant others and started going out. Four years later we're married!!

I met my DH through an ex boyfriend. My ex brought DH to a friends house to hang out one New Years Eve. I broke up with the ex shortly after the new year and we were all hanging out again at a bar on Superbowl Sunday.. Well, DH and I started talking and really hit it off and he called me the next day and the rest is history!!!

Through a friend 2 and a half years ago.
It's a little more compicated than that but it's too long of a story.
I just feel like it was our destiny to be together.

I met my husband....well something a little different I met him through a DATING service, on the phone!!!And the rest IS history!!

I married my best friends brother!
She is 3 years older than him and a year younger than me. So while she was at college, I never saw him. Then she cam home and he went away to college. So I didn't see him for years.
Then he came home and 10 months later we were dating! 5 years later we got married. My best friend was my maid of honor. Family events are SO much fun!
It is a perfect story.

We don't know...how sad is that? We met about 12/13 yrs ago through mutual friends...actually he was dating an old friend of mine, I thought he was a freak show. Through the years, we were acquaintances, friends, best friends, then we started going out in Jan. of 2000.

Through my sister's friend - we were all out at a bar and DH knew my sister's friend and her boyfriend very well. He came up and was introduced to me and from there.................!

we were set up by his and my best friend...they were dating at the time, the guy I was seeing had left for boot camp and DH grandma had just passed away. HIS friend thought it'd be 'nice' to invite him out on V-Day (day of funeral) to cheer him up.....we were inseperable for the next 5 days! We took a small break after 6 months, got back together after a month and a few months later we were engaged!

The Short Version
I guess you can say we met through music.

The Long Version
I was a music minor in college and played in the orchestra. Some of the music students played in bands and I would go to their shows to watch/support them. My DH played in one of the bands. I had a crush on him from day one (he positively glowed when he was on stage - having so much fun), and thought he would make a great boyfriend.

Little did I know at the time that he had a crush on me too, and when his band practiced in the same building as my orchestra, he would sneak out of practice and watch me play! (A violinist witha groupie! ) We had only smiled and said hello to each other for about a Year, until I went to what would have been my last show (I was graduating), and he finally came up to me.

We had a great time talking, I even hugged him goodbye (I was extremely shy, so this was very unusual for me), except I forgot to give him my number. He ran after me, but I was gone. Luckily, one of his band mates gave me a flyer for their next show three weeks later. Those 3 weeks were agony. When I finally went to the show, he came up to me and said I wasn't leaving until he got my number. I happily gave it to him, he called me the next night, and the rest is history!

We met while we were both college students, me a business major and Nick a techie major at Pace University, New York in the Computer Lab. Nick flirted with me to get my attention while on duty in the lab tossing my student identification card on the floor and making me bump my head from the registration desk to pick it up. After the Fall 1996 semester ended, we sat next to each other in the lab sending emails to each other where I’ve given Nick my phone number and told him I was free during the Christmas 1996 break. He’d asked me out and we went to a local sports bar for dinner on a bitter cold December evening of a New York winter as our first date.
