a friend of mine had a party at her apartment. She had no AC and it was about 90 degrees that night so we went to a local bar. I grew up in this town and never had stepped foot in this bar. Well, the first night that I did - I met my DH!

We met through friends, his best friend was dating my best friend (at the time).

I was a senior in hs- 17 yrs old.

We met through his cousin whom was dating my BF at the time.(who was a close friend of mine).. we all hung out with the same crowd, and I always had a feeling about him we just dated different people and never really associated with one another... just didn't think he was my type for whatever reason.. but one day his cousin was coming over by my Bf's house to hang out and I was there so he came along... that was it and here we are 8 years later and we were married in March!

Geez, we met in such a dorky way compared to everyone else.

We met at our church youth group. I was a singer, and he was the drummer. We'll be together 10 years this coming November.

We met the frist day of class at Katharine Gibbs. We were both going for Graphic Design. We were inseperable in classes & ever since! This december will be 5 years together. We've been married for 5 months.

we went to college together - but weren't friends in college - even though we knew eachother. I actually dated one of his Fraterinity bros. for many years - and he dated a girl for four years. All of us used to go to formals together and everything.

In 2000 we were in the same share house on FI - we became good friends - and even though we were both dating other people - I told him one drunk night that I was going to be his wife oneday - he laughed at me....

We met because we were both exhibitors at the Fire/EMS trade show in Syracuse in June 2001.
Our booths were across the aisle and our bosses knew each other. We flirted the entire 3 days. He went back to St. Louis (and called me every day) and I went back to LI. A month and a half later, I flew out to St. Louis and we had our first date. That began our 2 year long distance relationship.

We met at a mutual friend's wedding. DH and I had gone to high school together, and were friends with our mutual friend since high school, but somehow never met until that wedding more than 10 years later!

That's not dorky. That's how FH and I met. On a church retreat, I was in the choir and he asked me to go.
