how do you handle guests who ask for pictures...

Okay, I am REALLY flattered that people liked my wedding so much that they want photos.

But, it is kind of getting to be a hassle. I order the prints off of snapfish, so the cost isn't too high. But, then I have to go out and buy bubble envelopes and have the prints shipped. And, the snapfish shipping is getting to be costly.

DH has a cousin who asked for some prints of the family. She is REALLY nice and even sent me a beautiful album with the photos that she took at the wedding. So, I sent her two 5x7s.

She just asked how much an 8x10 would cost.

So, I'm just going to order it and send it to her. I'm not going to take her money.

So, I guess that this is really on me because I'm the one who won't accept the money from her. It just makes me feel weird...

anyone else besides your aunt who asks for pics. I would just email them the pics from snapfish and let them choose and pay themselves or tell the the link to your photos.

I agree with Kelly, if they are on snapfish, just click on 'share photos' and let them order them themselves.

i agree.....shutterfly is a good option to send people too....its subtle too!

I would e mail them the pics too. I have a similiar problem. I have been working for a doctor for 13 years and a lot of the patients that gave me gifts I gave regular thank you notes to on our custom made stationary. Well, some of them want actual pictures- it is not cheap to start ordering these. I do not want to e mail them becuase a lot of them are older and are not computer saavy and I do not want to start giving out my e mail address. ( Some of them follow me around the supermarket when I am food shopping.)

Well, because we have two big money spending things coming up in a few months, I told my relatives (except my dad and DH's dad of course) that we will be giving them all 1 5x7 for Christmas. My aunts will actually get 1 8x10. But anything other than that they're just going to have to pay. Or get them themselves off of shutterfly. They have the links. Maybe that sounds b!tchy of me but my photography studio is 1 hour away, not near where I work or live and it will be too expensive for me to get all those copied. And no one complained. If they do then oh well guess they won't be getting a pic then
Oh we are also giving 1 5x7 each to our WP.

How nice yet how rude that these people are asking. It's flattering but still!

Just say 'oh thanks but I don't have any more to give out'. If they persist, just smile and say, yes we are not going to order any more.

People are so pushy.
