I feel like Im slacking...I think every other May bride has changed already.
I'm one of the first 08 brides and I didn't do it yet. It just seems like such an annoying process. When I do it, I also have to change my professional license and all my work related stuff as well in addition to just the basics. ugh.
I didn't do it until 5 months--I did it on DH's birthday. I still haven't changed everything but at least the biggies are done.

haha according to social security--i still am an unmarried woman.
i changed mine with dmv and CCs -- but passport and social security are still my maiden. i b lazy![]()

be careful with that it can mess up your earnings with SS and affect you a million years from now!
Don't worry, I was married last October and I still have to change my name on evertything.
All the major stuffed I changed when we got back from our HM. Still have a few CC to change and Utillity bills as well. I figure the major stuff is done. I just have to rememeber how to sign my name for certain CC purchases. LOL!
i changed mine about 2-3 weeks after we got married
I changed almost everything when I got my Marriage Certificate which wasnt until the beginning of July. Change it when you get a chance dont make yourself crazy
I did it right away only because we got married in the summer and i'm a teacher and i know if i didn't do it during the summer i would have never done it because i would have been too busy during the year.
3 months. New year, new name.
I am actually not going to change my name. SS DMV still maiden name...Just CC's a misc. things I have my married name on...bills, etc.
i think i changed ss, license, & work stuff about 2 months after the wedding. Then gradually i changed some credit cards...not all yet. I still haven't changed my passport... i'm just waiting until i need a new one haha.

I haven't done anything yet either. To be totally honest, i'm having a hard time of letting go of my last name. Its such a big deal to DH though, he wants me to change it on everything! I think i just need to take my time doing it.
i changed my name on my ss card, driver's license, and some credit cards. and i started using my new last name at work. i still haven't changed some of my credit cards, any of our bills (cable, electric, etc) or with my school loans. it seemed like it would be fun at first, but it wasn't so i sorta gave up for now. lol. i figure i have the big things done so that's enough for the time being :) i still think of myself as having my maiden name though...i get confused when somebody calls me by his last name :)
I'm still in the process, I just changed my license last month when I was back in NY. I did SS probably a month after we got married and did my credit cards then too. Still have one CC to change and I haven't done my passport yet. I wasn't that worried about it, but I feel better now that my license is done!
Married November 9th.. officially changed my name legally in the beginning of the year so January 1st or 2nd.
