We bought our house in Stewart Manor six months before the wedding. Between the down payment and footing 70% of the wedding, I am looking forward to once again having a savings account with a positive balance...hopefully that will be sometime soon!!

We still rent and probably will do so for another year until we have enough $$ to buy....but we may have to move before that!
My job wants to transfer me to Charlotte, NC!

We're currently renting in Southold but have just begun to talk to mortgage people and are kind of looking for a house to buy since we have to be out of our place by April.
Just don't know that it's gonna happen though.

we are renting in queens right now... waiting until DH finishes school to look into purchasing something. We were looking into a condo but everything is soo much $$$ in the neighborhoods we want! Our rent is really good here for a big duplex apartment so we decided to sign another year onto our lease and try to save, save, save!

We have an apartment and pay rent

Can't afford a house...but the landlords are my parents cuz they own the house and so we get to pay cheap rent which allows us to save a little (what we can after paying bills...LOL) Maybe one day we'll have a house. They are so expensive!!!
