How many NW actually saved the top of their cake?(Poll)

I didn't vote b/c my option isn't up there.

My hall sent me home with a box of stuff and told me my extra favors, sand ceremony, marriage license, etc was in there. So we got home Saturday, left the box on the living room couch and went on our 9 day huggymoon...

When we got home the house STUNK and we couldn't figure out why.... turns out the top of our cake was in the bottom of the box and no one told us it was in there.

Needless to say, we had to throw it out. We would have loved to save it.

Hey Yelley why don't you ask to save the top layer from TWOTY, then you can eat that on your anniversary????

we saved it--put it in a freezer bag and it was not freezer burned at all.

on our first anniversary -- DH and i shared 2 slices and it tasted fantastic.

OMG he is adorable!!!!!

We are saving ours. the box is huge and is really taking so much room in my fridge.

We saved ours, the box took up almost half of our freezer and when we took it out for our anniversary the cake itself was so much smaller than the box!!! lol! It was so much wasted space! And it tasted HORRIBLE booooo. We definitely didn't pack it up right. Note to future brides - you should cellophane wrap it with a few layers, then put aluminum foil over it. Should taste good if you do that. Or do what Melissa did and put it in a freezer bag.

omggg collette.. he's a cutie pie.. sooo adorable..



we saved the cake.. it is in MIL's freezer.. and it's been there, wrapped in foil and some plastic.. she tried to get us to take it back with us but we didn't.. no room in our freezer.. so on our 1 year ann. we'll defrost it and i think take a bite and order a replica.. i'm too scared to actually eat it.. but for tradition sake, i would..
