How many pictures are in your album and your parents albums?

I'm finally going to my photographer this weekend to design my wedding album. I'm just curious how many pictures are in your albums.

Our Wedding album will have 120 pictures.
Our parents albums will have 30 pictures each.

I believe our contract says 70 for us (fusion -magazine style) and 24 for parents albums (traditional style - one pic per page).

Now, how I will ever narrow it down to 70 for us I have no idea, lol.

we have the exact same contract at Duet I guess! lol I have the same- I finally decided on pics, now I'm just doing the final narrowing down (I have it down to 85, and that was from the original 130 I picked! I think I might end up adding 2 pages at $25 each and see how many more pics that gets me!

You are too funny. I wish I could do that, but DH will be at the photographer with me, so I would feel bad.

We have 80 in our albums and the parents are an exact replica of ours (just a little smaller album)

Ours - 120
Parents- I ended up making myself on the blurb and made 20 pages for each set of parents

My photographer doesnt include parents albums in a package everything after the package we pick is bascially a la carte and it is sooo pricey . Although the work is probably beauitful for the price we decided to save money.

we did 180 for our album so its pretty big in size.

Me too - but mine isnt done yet, and we decided to only use 150.

Is your album too much you think? I am afraid people wont want to look at it if it is so big!

honestly it is BIG but we keep it at home and people still always ask us to see it whenever they come over. But it is heavy and big...and we have to be very careful when turning the pages. So i think going with 150 pictures may be better, this way there is also less likely of a chance that your binding will start to get loose...the more pages you put into an album the more likely it is for the binding to start falling apart
