Dr. M's adivce:

'Normal' is whatever is regular for you. If you always go once a day then that's normal for you. If normal is once everyother day, then that's normal for you. Only be concerned if your 'normal' bowel habits change drastically.

To answer the question: I go once a day. Usually in the am, right after my morning coffee
