I am really pissed off right now...

I went on my lunch hour to Party City b/c DH and I are having that Movie party tomorrow.

In the movie they do alot of bowling, so I was going to get some bowling decorations. They didn't have anything except for some throphies and some fake plastic bowling pins and a bowling ball. I called DH to ask him if I should get any of it, and he was like '....I dunno...'.

Mind you, this is a party that he is hosting and invited everyone to. I am just trying to help him out. He said 'there will be games, and white russians, and food..blah blah' ..so here I am trying to help him out and he gave me such attitude.

I said 'oh okay, b/c I am just trying to get some decorations and they don't have much, do you have any other ideas/?' and the phone was silent...I said 'uh hello??' he was still silent..so I said 'okay whatever then, I wont get anything then..okay?' He said '....what?? I dont know'. Plus I keep asking him if I should make food, or if we are going to order pizza and he can't give me an answer!!!!!


*rips hair out*

Then I tell this lady at work not to mention the party and while I am sitting at the lunch table she goes 'what did you go to Party CIty for??? Oh that movie party you are having..oops, I wasn't supposed to say anything'. I mean W T F??? I wanted to punch her in the face.


I am in a bad mood right now lol

UGH!!! that is fustrating!!!

As my DH had a tendency to do things at the last minute and wants my help, I usually tell him to do it himself. He's learning not to be such a procrastinator.

Save yourself some trouble and order in food, don't worry about the decorations and have pitchers of white russians on hand.

he just posted something on FB about how he is at work and is so busy and doesn't have the time to talk. He could've told me this when he picked up his phone instead of being a D!ck!


I will just leave things alone..I will make what I said I was going to make, but that's it..he is on his own! lol *******

you sound like us- DH loves to entertain and I end up doing all the work! dont stress yourself- it will be great and everyone will have fun- and order pizza so you can enjoy the party & not worry about serving

Try not to get too stressed. You know men can be really clueless at times. Take it with a grain of salt and order in tommorrow so you dont have to worry about cooking.

I really don't mind entertaining, it's actually what I live for. I just wish he could give me some direction. I don't watch the movie as much as he does, so if he is doing a party that is themed to this movie, he needs to give me some ideas.

Yeah, I will just order out tomorrow, he can deal wit hit all :) ty girls!

Aw, I'm sure whatever you're doing is fine! I didn't get a chance to post the other day...Ace of Cakes actually made a cake for this huge get together for die hard fans of this movie. I forget where they had it but he went and they demolished his cake! I've never actually seen the movie myself so I didn't know about this huge cult following...he was explaining it on the show. I'm trying to remember what else they used for the theme on the cake. Have you tried doing a google search? I'm almost sure there was a website...I think they do this every year. Maybe you can get some more ideas there.
