I can't believe......

I was sick on my wedding day! Has this happeend to anyone else. Every part of my day was great except that it was pouring rain out.....I felt so horribale that i feel so bad now that i couldn't enjoy my wedding the way I wanted to by dancing the night away and not beingf worried about how i felt. All anyone keeps saying is I felt so bad you were sick makes me feel even more upset...I wish they would not talk about it. they all had a great time but what good is it if i couln't enjoy it...sorry just venting wanted to know if anyone shared these feelings or similar experience

I'm sorry to hear that. Well, I got very sick 4 days before the wedding, I went to the doctor and he gave antibiotics and they worked out really good. He said it was stress, I completely lost my voice.

It POURED on my wedding day until early afternoon - so it messed up timing on outdoor pics and stuff. We were still able to have our outdoor ceremony because it wasn't raining in the evening - but I was a mess and a complete bridzilla be-atch all day long and I totally understand how you feel!!
It's easy for us to look back and say - oh this wasn't a big deal or I wish I had done or not done this - but we can't. I don't think I enjoyed my wedding as much as I could of either - but that was because everything went so fast!!! Right now, I feel like i can barely remember it!!! Hang in there!

I wasn't sick on my wedding day, however I got VERY sick on my wedding night. I almost wound up in the hospital if that makes you feel any better.

i wasnt sick but i had af and i was bloated and miserable for most of the day popping water pills and premynsin lol

I had the worst cold in history. It started out early in the week before my wedding. But since there was so much to do, I didn't take the time to rest. DH's family came over from England and wanted to do New York City. DH was unsure about where to go and how to get there...so I took everyone around the city.

Although I had fun, in hindsight, I should have stayed in bed and rested.

Although I was sick for my wedding day, I pushed through it and had a great time anyway.

Don't worry...I'm sure everyone had a great time at your wedding!

i wasn't sick on the wedding day, but i got a horrible cold on the honeymoon! probably the only time i'll ever get to go to hawaii and i felt awful. we didn't get to do a lot of hiking and stuff that we had planned. but oh well, these things happen. at least i got to go...

The day before the wedding, I had a really bad headache.

The morning of the wedding, it was really terrible. I woke up from the pain at 5 am and I thought that I was going to have to go to the hospital. I was in a hotel, so I bought some pain relievers.

I started to feel a little better. When I got in the limo, there was no AC. the driver got lost and a 3 mile drive ended up being a 45 minute drive. Every time she stopped, the limo was rocking back and forth.

Once we got to the church, I literally screamed at the driver to turn of the ignition because the car was rocking and I was going to throw up. Finally, I jumped out of the car.

Some guests were outside while this happened. My bridesmaids were yelling to the groomsmen about how I was going to throw up, etc, etc.

The photographer and videographer were like, 'Can you please get back in the car for 1 minute so we can get some shots of you and your brother?'

I had a tickle in my throat for two days prior to my wedding and as I was walking down the isle I had a bad coughing fit. Thought I was over it and started again, when I got to the alter

It was 6 degrees on my wedding day & I had no voice & a sore throat. Like an idiot I pretended that it wasn't ther e& drank like a fissh & paried anyway... I was soooooooo ill for the first 3 days of my HM it was so bad

Girls...I know how you feel. When I think back about my bouque..it makes me want to seriously cry. I would never cry for flowers....it is just a special important day that means alot. We brides get very sensitive when it comes to this.

July was a very rainy month, so I was prepared for anything. All they kept telling me was you can not control the weather. Thank God it did not rain. But, he knew I suffered enough with all of the wedding preparations in the pasts.

I had a bad cold the week before my wedding. I could not smell or taste! I was luck enough that the night of my rehersal dinner I was feeling better and by the wedding day I could smell my boquet and taste the food at my wedding.

Well I wasn't about to sit out and miss my wedding because of a little headache but boy did my body take a beating that day!

There was something in the air the weekend of my wedding - a few guests had bad problems as well as one of my bm's.

I had a horrific allergy attack and couldn't eat anything at the rehearsal dinner and had to leave the party early - I was back at the hotel throwing up and hacking up a lung that I called my parents in the middle of the night to bring me to their home. I was up ALL NIGHT - luckily my mother, aunt, cousin were/are nurses and my uncle and family friend are dr's and my uncle got me some nauseau and other meds and had to drug me up to make it thru the day -

I was unable to eat anything at the wedding more than a mouthful or two and unable to drink any alcohol all night (including the toast).

I even went to my ceremony after eating nothing but gingerale and 2 crackers all day.

As a result I was unable to dance and interact as much as I would normally have done if I was feeling better.

It is so crazy there is so much on the one day that if it does not turn out okay it's upsetting. I don't even mean details about the day b/c I was so not even noticing anything. I just wish I can say I had the time of my life. I was so sick that I could not wait to get to bed! At least i made it thorough the curch part though. But everyone kept saying why isn't she dancing and it was annoying me...
