Ok so I went today to dye my hair red but took more than once to get it lol. This guy was supposed to do it but he was real sick and left early, so this other girl who works there said she'll do it. Now i personally like her alot but she never listens to me, shes done my hair twice before and both times i told her what i wanted, she disagreed and did it her way and i didnt like it. SO i was hesitant from the beginning, but the guy had told her what formula to use. From the beginning she said OH NO dont do that do a natural color, which i do NOT want at all with red, what i was showed was too close to light brown and i said no. Ok so she dyes it, and the owner sees it and he even said its not red. He told me he'll blow dry my hair and show me. ANd it was like a light brown. He said this is what it looks like a month after you dye your hair red and its all faded.
So he said, i'll do it. He went in the back, mixed it up and dyed my hair again lol. This time it came out AMAZING!!!!! its a deep burgundy color, and i love it color is amazing. He then cut my hair, and he did such a great job too. I cut it shorter again. The back is PERFECT!!!! better than all the other times i got it cut short, even the front is perfect. I am so HAPPY with the results I FINALLY got it cut how i want and love the color.
Here are some real bad pics, my camera is real messed up and taking blurry pics or flash not working properly. But what can i do. So you cant really see color well in the pics, but this will do.

Silvana-it looks alot darker than the pic, its like a deep burgundy, but i think you would look great with it.
i had something sort of similar in h.s. though not as nice since it wasn't professional.
i could imagine showing up at work with that hair color now, my boss's eyes would pop out of his head they are super-conservative here. But I do love the color.... need to add some darker red next time I go.
lol yeah when i was a teenager i was a redhead and did it myself alot and had some crazy colors come out
This time its not as crazy or funky red like it was last time, its much much darker and more burgundy. You can always go for a burgundy color but tell them to keep it more normal looking

one time my sister and i died our hair - we ended up swapping colors at the last minute b/c she liked mine better. well my hair looked awesome and hers came out ORANGE she had to make an emergency appt at the salon for the next day, it was hysterical and probably the only time i ever looked better than her

ugh dont even bother with the book. Ive seen the books at the salon even did yesterday and the red samples they have are so few and the worst. They have like 4-6 samples and its either auburn, a horrible red that looks like you went to ricky's and bought the temporary dye ones, or too cooper. So i brought in a pic of my hair the last time i had it, i forgot the pics but i had it on my phone and light wasnt great so was darker. And you have to tell them over and over bc they hate dying hair red, i had 5 ppl mixing my color yesterday. It doesnt stay long so they dont like that, and theres just more to mixing when doing it.
Oh ive had orange hair too when doing it myself lol

It looks great espo!! I love the color I wish I had the guts to color or get highlights in my hair lol!!!!
why not go for it, its just hair and if you dont like it you can always go back. It was funny bc one of the ladies who works didnt recognize me at first and she was like 'everytime i see you, you have a different hair color, different haircut' no wonder i never recognize you lol.
lol...that just shows that you aren't afraid of change which is great! It's true....I have wanted highlights for a long time, I think I will go talk to my hairstylist Thank you
