I don't often ask for prayers and LIW thoughts....

but I guess the situation calls for it

My grandmother is my only remaining grandparent. I was so so so happy she made it here for the wedding. But for the last 2 weeks she has been in the hospital, originally with what they thought was pneumonia but later diagnosed as congestive heart failure. I'm not really getting a clear answer on her prognosis- I do know that she was sent home but is under continued treatment and that the eventual treatment for this is usually surgery, which they likely won't perform on my 89 year old grandmother. She has lived a great life and is probably ready to go soon. But really my prayers are selfish. Since I filed for a green card I can't leave the country until my application is approved which could take some months. Even in the case of death I can't leave. I'd really love to be able to see her before she does pass if that is what's to come, and obviously it would be very hard for me if I was unable to attend her funeral. So in essence I'm asking for thoughts and prayers that she is able to maintain a stable condition without much pain for a few months longer (at least) so that I will be able to leave and see her.

I appreciate any thoughts and prayers you can share

in the meanwhile, is there any way you can do a video chat or something?
