I feel like an idiot posting this, but I'm so sad...

Apparently, there is a rumor being spread by my students that I'm pregnant. Yesterday one of them obnoxiously told me that 'everyone is saying you're pregnant.' I have definitely gained weight since the wedding but I don't think enough to warrant this gossip. I know they're just kids but I just want to cry about this. Silly, right?

been there - happened to me. I would have a discussion with the students 1st & if it continues, then your principal.

P.S. My neighbors all think Im pregnant b/c I've put on weight since the wedding. My one neighbor emails me weekly to be a PITA & ask when Im due...nice, huh?

How old are your students? Maybe they just assume that because you're a newlywed, you're automatically pregnant?

If not, and they're just being nasty, extra homework -- and especially weekend homework -- for the rest of the school year!!

i was mad at myself for letting him get to b but sometmes we cant help it..i know nothing is going to mak u feel better right now but im sure as sh!t going to try

you are an amzing person..AMAZING..i dont care if u r 100 lbs or 1000 lbs..the only thing thats big on u is ur heart

do u remember when i first came on and i was saying how i had noone to go veil shopping with...u offere to take me..yes after beng on this site for 2 months and not knowing me u offered..people dont do those sort of things unless they r just as beautiful on the inside as they r on the out

i want u to look in the mirror..look at how gorgeous u are..listen to your sexy as hell voice..which if u girls dont know she has this amazing sultry speaking voice ..ask your sister how amazing you are to your beautiful neice..ask u hubby how gorgeous you are..

gaining 5 or 10 pounds wont change anything about how all the people who love you feel about you cause they know how beautiful u are..inside and out..DONT FORGET IT

and as for those little kids..i know u cant do this but imagine doing it..go up to them and say..no im not pregnant..i want to be but im afraid they will turn out like you

Aww Ang. It SOOOO not about weight. I truly feel its definitely that kids are kids & now that you are married you are the one to be Prego. Please dont get down on yourself. Its really just silly kids.

Children can say the silliest things and not mean harm but if they are being mean then I agree load up the homework!! LOL

you dont look pregnant at all. even IF you gained a few pounds (which your still thin to me and I dont think you look like you gained anything).

It might just be because you just got married??

or maybe someone overheard something in regards to trying and got confused.

Funny that you mentioned something about my voice because today I had a coverage and a kid who doesn't know me asked if I always talk like this or am I losing my voice.

Aww Ang..im sorry this happened. I had a kid once say to me 'You look JUST like my mom! she's 8 months pregnant!' I wanted to die. But try to remember that kids are idiots sometimes. you are beautiful and funny and wonderful and that's all that matter...and for the record , you look wonderful!

happened to me my second year teaching...principal even called me down to ask me if it was true...

Ang, as someone who has also been asked if I was preggo (going so far as a woman who actually TOUCHED my STOMACH and asked when I was due!!!) I can tell you - PEOPLE (especially kiddos) are rude and stupid. Do not let something like that get to you! At the end of the day, you're a gorgeous woman who is married to an amazing guy who - I ASSURE you - both thinks and KNOWS that you are beautiful. I am pretty sure that's all that matters.

Aww the kids don't know what the hell is going on. Don't worry about it, in the end they are just kids and don't have a clue abt people's feelings or what is appropriate /not appropiate to say.


I had two 9 yr old kids come up to me before the wedding and one said 'oooooh miss natalie your soon to be husband is hootttttt!' and then another one chimed in and said 'ewww no he's NOT!'

I just but thought it was so rude!
Granted DH didn't find it as funny and told me to put the one kid in the back for the recital.

aww i think in kids mind, that once you are married you have babies, soo i wouldnt be too offended!

that stinks ang! im sorry you are getting that from the kids...maybe its time you tell mike you gotta get preggo NOW! lol
