I found out where DH is taking me for Valentine's Day

I found out where DH is taking me for Valentine's Day

...i was told to take off next Monday & Tuesday and to make sure I had a red cocktail dress for Monday night.

Well I finally got it out of him!

He's taking me to Newport Rhode Island (random, I know) and we're staying at this fancy hotel that looks like an old mansion. Dinner is at their restuarant, jackets & ties required for guys, hence the cocktail dress for me.

Room is super fancy- fireplace & HOT TUB in the room....woot woot.

Not sure how I feel about Newport in the freezing cold, but I'm excited because I dont think I've ever stayed anywhere that looks so fancy pants....and if there is a hot tub in the room, I'm not leavin'

DH and I went to Newport for Valentine's day 2 years ago! We had a great time! Definitely make sure you stop by the Newport Winery for the tour/tasting! Looks like a great hotel... enjoy!

This sounds SO NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been to Cape Cod in the bitter cold and it's actually been really fun and nice! You're going to have a really nice time! See if there are any wineries open too!
