My MIL gave me all of her Xmas Tree Spode Dishes!!! She bought new snowman designed dishes so gave me these. I'm excited although we cant have xmas at our house this year due to lack of space, but for next yr or yr after I have china!

That's AWESOME! I was thinking of buying them but thought - to use for one holiday it was too much to spend, (plus I don't have the storage space) but I would LOVE to get them as a gift anyway! WHOO HOO! Lucky you! Enjoy!

Yea Im happy lol. They have only been in her basement collecting dust for a few years now snickers- She is a packrat but I love her.
We also got our fine china from her sister actually. BEAUTIFUL stuff; plain white with platinum banding and all the serving utensils are real silver. I think she used it maybe 6 times if that much. But she developed alzheimers and is in a nursing home so my MIL gave it all to us to keep it in the family. She really is good to me. Can't complain about her wacky @$$

hah she outright asked but we have a table for 4 and unelss we made everyone eat in the living room on folding chairs and tables lol wont happen.
