I had the worst NYE thanks to Chateau Briand!!!

I had the worst NYE thanks to Chateau Briand!!!

and i was soooo bummed!!!!especially since ive heard nothing but great things from all the ladies on here.

The band PARIS was AMAZING though!!!!

-the food was terrible no choice for dinner they say it was Filet Mignon but it was more like pot roast and the CH was laughable. (mind you we paid $150 a ticket) It was the most expensive RH we've been to for NYE for we had high hopes

-We were in the normandy room-- it was soooooo packed it was ridiculous. You had to wait on line at the bar for your drinks for a half hour (I SWEAR NO JOKE) any other catering hall ive been to offers table service which they def shouldve done.

- the staff were rude and in a rush

The only saving grace is that we could go from room to room. The other rooms were a little better-- but still a let down.

That really sucks!

You should try Crest Hollow Country Club next year DH and I went for there for the first time and had an amazing time! We had 7 entrees to choose from, great DJ, and fireworks at midnight. It was only $100 per person.

No it was EJ the DJ, never heard of him before but he was really good.

Me and my friends did Chateau Briand for nye a few years ago and I felt the same way. It really bothered me that they don't give you a choice for dinner, and the cocktail hour was very small. For $150 a person I expected alot more. We still had a blast though, but that was due to the open bar lol

Oh No! I am so sorry you had such a bad time. DH and I went to the Babylon Carriage House and it was great. The food and service were awesome, maybe you can try there next year.
