I HATE BOBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Major vent here....so slowly we are replacing our cheap apartment furniture with some nicer stuff. So after searching for a month, I finally found a couch that I loved. Well the color I wanted had to be special ordered, ok fine. So they called Friday and said they would be delivering our couch on Sat between 8:30 and 11:30 (after waiting 4 weeks for it to come in).....fast forward to Saturday morning, they call at 8am and tell me that they LOST a piece of the couch, do I still want the rest. Well of course I'm annoyed and say I need the loveseat part since I sold my couch friday night on craigslist, so bring what they have. The woman informed me to call back later that morning to get a status of the missing piece. Well 12:30pm and no love seat.....I called and apparently they were running late, then the woman tells me that they can schedule me for the missing piece so I assumed that meant they found it. Well she tells me she can't deliver it for another 2 weeks that they have nothing open. After screaming at her for 10 mins, then she tells me they lost it again. All weekend I was FUMING. So I called this morning and the woman tells me they are working on finding it I should here something in the afternoon. Well I just called and they still can't find it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And that they just starting looking for it an hour ago!!!!!!!!!!! I think I'm giving myself an ulcer.

So I have half a couch in my living room, I hate Bobs and will never ever order anything from them again.

Sorry this is kind of long I just needed to vent....

I have to agree, I haven't had the greatest experience with them either and I always advise people not to use them.

OMG this was similar to our experience w/Levitz furniture in 2004 - it was HORRIBLE!

We ordered our sectional for our LR - we got $$ as a housewarming gift from my parents to buy one. We found a really nice one we liked & it came in 2 colors - of course the color WE liked was considered a special order color . So we ordered it in June of 2004- said it could take 6-8 weeks. OK. So 8 weeks goes by & STILL nothing - we end up finally getting the sectional the 3rd week of Sept - only to have it be the wrong color . So we call & they are trying to find it in the warehouse - told us 1 week - it was 5 weeks when it came. Then they have 2 left ends, a center & no right end??? - so again they take back one of the ends & they tell us 1 week - 4 weeks later we get the right piece in the WRONG color WT EFF?
Again we call & FINALLY FINALLY on Dec 23rd it's delivered - the right piece in the right color. We have since refused to give them anymore of our business b/c of that. Plus the customer service reps on the phone are RUDE MO FO's. UGH...the worst EVER! We even wrote a 2 pg letter to the CEO - we got like a $150 gift certificate - but we didnt want anymore aggravation.

So needless to say after my long winded story- I FEEL YOUR PAIN. BEEN THERE & DONE THAT.

I haven't had any problems with them, we got our living room set and bedroom set from them

How do they lose part of a couch?!! I mean its not like misplacing your car keys its a big piece of furniture! So sorry you have to deal with this, hopefully it will get resolved soon and you never have to deal with them again!
