I hate my album

Your pictures are lovely.
The only change I would make is on pages 14 and 15. - Make the pictures color since the background is dark. Especially the large one of you walking down the aisle with your parents.

it looks good. I'm in the middle of going over it with my designer....now I'm second guessing some pages after seeing yours. Like I should have more..lol..

I like it! BUT on pg 14...you have this beautiful photo of you being walked down the aisle...I think the 3 photos below it detract from the simple beauty of that photo...and the fact that 2 are in color and other is not kind of stands out. on pg 31 you have the same 3 photo layout as on pg 14 (except the other photo is a background) but it works well because the 2 b&W are flanking each side of the color ...so its symetrical & Balanced.


ETA: I also agree with the post about 'alot of square photos...not enough blurred into blend. what about a blown up deail photo of your flowers as a background? they can lighten it up or make it cepia toned or black and white ...fade it out...whatever you want.

I think your pictures are beautiful! Just to add my two cents, I hate it when there are too many pictures on a page. I think the eye can take in only so many. In fact, I don't like any more than 3 or 4. I prefer the simplicity, but I am not sure if that is what you are going for.

I agree that I prefer b&w and colored pictures to be matched on the page. Again, it is easier on the eyes.

Then again, I opted for the traditional album with black background, so my tastes may be radically different...HTH!

i LOVE your album. the layout is extremely similar to mine, but my background colors are lighter, which i think makes a difference. i'd really like to see the revised copy if you make changes

i see what you mean though - to me the photographs are awesome its just the layout that is kind of lacking.....its not bad but to me its a little on the plain side and it kind of reminds me of the layouts on album making websites - like i made DH a boudoir album and i making us a wedding album and the layouts remind me of the ones that the site had - especially the ones with a lot of sqaures/boxes - when i made DH's album and our wedding album which i am working on now i tried to avoid the busy layouts with lots of boxes and i tried to really be creative - but that is because i like different stuff - some people might think my layouts are on the wacky side (i wish i was at home b/c id post some!) but its all just personal preference really - some people would love your album just the way it is and there is nothing wrong with your album at all BUT if you don't like the style than ask for some changes - changes with the backgrounds, less squares, more variety in the layouts.....just give some direction - you are paying for it and you should be 100% happy with it.....you have really good pictures and honestly that is what counts - no matter what the layout is it doesn't look bad because you guys are a great looking couple that looks HAPPY!
