We just got married also and people are starting already. I wanted to set the record straight, right away. I want to start in 2-3 years. My DH is 33 and I am 27. He said I will probably want to wait longer then him. He wants one by 35. I remind him that it is not his bio-clock.

Hehehehehe.... hey us guys have our bio-clocks too. Its called a sperm count.

Anyways... i just asked my girl about this today. She said by the time she is in her mid-30s tops. More likely low 30s. She is 27 now. I am 29.

We are not ready to have kids now. We both want to wait at least 3-4 years first.
I don't see the big rush, I know it will be a major life change.
DH is 31 and I am almost 26.

I would have one right now if i could....but i want to be settled in a house and really really ready for it. When the time is right I think we will know. I am hoping that the 'right time' will be sometime in 2005....at least to be 'open to life' and off of BC.

Every couple needs to be on their own time line. You do what is right for you, when it is right for you and don't pay any attention to what other people are doing or saying.

We were married almost a year ago and pretty much since the day of the wedding people have been asking us about babies. I tell whoever is asking that we are going to have one right after that person has their next or first. That usually shuts the person right up

Not us, not yet. We're finally living in the same country after over a year spent apart, so we're enjoying the time together. Plus, I want to have children in the States and we're living in London right now. Probably another 3 to 4 years.
