These are all so great!

Well, mine is that David almost missed me walking down the aisle. The priest never went back into the sacristy to go get him and our Best Woman to watch the BP come down the aisle. When they realized that the BP music was playing and almost over, they rushed out so they wouldn't miss me. In the process, the BW tripped over the aisle runner and almost fell on her face!
We have the sounds caught on video since the video man was obviously pointing down the aisle towards me.

Lisa - OMG, I was going to share my story but your is SO much funnier - especially with the little bag that dropped

Mine was when DH started to do the lawn mower, and sprinkler. Then, before long, all of his fraternity brothers chimed in...the bartender told me he'd never seen people dance like that before

I had asked my mother and MIL to light the 2 tapers for the unity candle. My mother gets to the altar and mistakenly blows out the candles. She says 'Oh, SH-T! Everyone heard her and started laughing. The priest went to go look for some matches to relight it...I however, did not find it funny..
After the whole robbery thing and me crying down the aisle.. ..I wanted a stress free ceremony!

Dawnie, I did that too. After we lighted the unity candly we were supposed to put it back in the stand and I blew mine out, we got that on camera. Also for the kiss me and DH said that we would do three little kisses, well after the 2nd one he pulled away. You see me on the video with my mouth open waiting for the third kiss that never came!!

Dawnie, your story reminded me of a really funny story involving my sisters wedding. She had a traditional jewish wedding, where the parents are involved in giving wine to the couple. It was my mom's turn to give a sip of wine to my brother-in-law, and when the rabbi tried to hand the glass to my mom to TAKE FROM HIM and give it to my brother in law....my mom leaned in and took a sip instead!

First, thank you for starting this thread. I am so sad today that it's nice to think of the happy/funny wedding moments to cheer up a little.

Here is mine: DH's Uncle Jerry is usually a pretty quiet guy but, well, this wedding and all the free booze brought him out of his shell a bit. We noticed him dancing a bit more vigourously than most other people but it wasn't much of a concern until near the end of the night during when the band was playing Donna Summer's 'Hot Stuff,' we looked over and he appeared to be wearing a hat! We couldn't figure out what it was on his head until DH's cousin pointed out that Jerry had tied a dinner napkin around his head, bandana style and was proceeding to jump around the room. It was absolutely hysterical...even more so captured on video!

Had to be when my priest, holding the plate of Communion to be given out to the guest, tripped over the wire from his mic, (not that I didnt see the wire and was thinking gee he is going to fall), my little MOH caught him, kicked my boo-k out of the way and not one host was dropped. We laugh everytime we watch the video.

Or when we were exchanging rings John said Stacey TASTE this ring......

Mine isn't as funny as the rest. But, it was very fitting. My husbands has a friend whom he lovingly refers to her as Ditsy. (I didn't know her real name for months)
Well we were sitting at the alter & people are walking up for communion. And low & behold her comes Ditsy just as she got close to the Priest she trips!! It's so hard not to laugh when everyone is watching!

I know, I'm not supposed to be here... but, can I tell you the funniest moment I've seen at a wedding??

We were at a wedding 2 yrs ago at John Anthonys for one of my FI's fraternity brothers. So alot of the frat guys were there (who are CrAzY) Well, at the end of the reception, one of they guys IN THE BRIDAL PARTY, who is not the thinnest I might add, stripped naked, danced around the outside deck and jumped in the water!! Then, because he got such a good response from the people on the dock on the other side, and from the rest of the frat. bros... he jumped in and DID IT AGAIN! It was absolutely hysterical. we still laugh about it!

The first thing that happened was right before the ceremony I really had to pee- so my cousin comes into the bathroom with me to help hold the dress up... We think we are free & clear- and we wound up dunking part of the train in the toilet- whoops!

During the reception (which was full of musicians b/c my Mother & StepDad are musicians) one of the guests convinced one of the waiters to sing opera acapella! I felt bad b/c it was TOTALLY quite while he was singing b/c it was basically a dare.

He only got halfway through b/f he freaked out!

Oh yeah- after the band played the tarentella- they played the jig.. we still can't figure out why! Neither I nor DH is Irish!

OK, here goes:

We used dried lavender as our wedding toss outside the church. It was a pretty color and had a very nice fragrance. Anyway, at the reception, my sister (MOH) was helping me go to the bathroom. As I lifted up my dress and pulled down my pantyhose, dried lavender proceeded to fall out!
My sister laughs hysterically and exclaims, 'Put it back in. Don't you want to smell good for hubby tonight!'

While we were taking pictures on the beach the photographer had all of the GM hold me up...well all of a sudden my DH yells at one of his friends...'Get you hands off my wifes a$$'. It was so funny. We have another proof (not scanned) where you see my brother (second from the left) with this OMG face and the rest of the GM are cracking up laughing.

These are so funny

We have 2. The first one is that my DH gets a hold of the microphone and does a whole karoke routine to paradise by the dashboard light. He even gets me involved so everyone is surrounding us on the dance floor. My DH knows every I mean every word, including the baseball part, and when Meatloaf starts his tirade in the song my DH goes sliding on his knees across the entire dance floor. The whole thing is on video

Then I had to promise to play one mosh song for him and his friends to mosh too. Well they are now all in there 30's and haven't moshed in a while and they were all out of breath so all the guests were laughing at them, once again on tape

One of mine...
I had to run through the kitchen of Flowerfield in my gown to keep some early arriving family from seeing me before the wedding! I got the total tour of Flowerfields kitchen (very nice by the way) while my maitre d and three waitors carried my gown for me. I was a site! TALK ABOUT BRIDEZILLA! I just couldnt let anyone see me!

One of the funniest moments was when my best friend - MOH caught the bouquot. Her boyfriend ran into the bathroom - very quickly and took off his boxer shorts. Then he caught the gater. As he was putting it on her leg he whipped out a pair out boxer shorts from (he had them up his sleeve) and the whole place was laughing so hard. then he yelled 'My god What are you wearing!'

It was so funny.
