I'm bored...Post the funniest moments of your wedding day.

Mine is a bit obscure and most of you probably won't even get it. You will get it only if you saw the movie Sixteen Candles. You know the scene as they are leaving for the sisters wedding, everyone is all confused walking out to the car? The song Young American by David Bowie is playing in the background.

Anywho, the day of our wedding, DH's brother (his best man) set up their cd player and cued this song to go on the minute the limo showed up and they were leaving and no one knew it. As luck would have it, they were in a commotion because of the rain, and the scene looked exactly like the one in the movie. So when the song came on, and no one expected it, they stopped to laugh their ever loving a$$es off for 15 minutes before they got into the limo.

How Funny...LOL i saw that movie too and loved it. The funniest moment (in my opinion) of my wedding was when my flowergirl said how she loved the ring boy. she was like 'I love him and Anthony loves me'. Then she proceeded to show everyone her flowergirl dress that was hanging in front of my mom's closet...LOL She just turned 4 in June.

mine is a you had to be there to see it, so I will not share that one.

The funny thing that happened is something we never noticed until we watched our video. After the minister was done, he pronounced us Mr. & Mr. Our last name. PS I saw all the BP members laughing, I did not know what it was. They never told us until we were watching they video they pointed it out. When they all laugh I say, no matter what he said, its all legal, we are already married. Mr & Mr oh well

that is funny!
i think ours would be when my cousin's hubby caught the garter and totally TRIED to pass it off as if he wasn't trying to catch it. only found this out after seeing the video! oh, and a had a guest of one of the gm's tackle one of my bm's to the floor for the bouquet. dont people realize how bad this looks????

That's why me and my husband chose not to do the bouquet and garter tossing because people get stupid sometimes. We did the Anniversary dance where the DJ played a slow song and had all the married couples come up and dance and then he would start eliminating the couples off the dance floor according to how many years you've been married and then the longest married couple to remain on the dance floor won the bouquet. The couple that won have been married for 53 years...God Bless them!!!

Good story!

My sister (MOH) had a little train on her dress that ripped (her FH stepped on it!) but we tried to pin it back up... I guess we didn't do such a good job because she slipped on it and fell flat on her butt in the middle of the dance floor! There weren't a lot of people dancing at that time, so it got everyone's attention!!

My 12 year old princess Jr. BM caught the bouquet. Our 12 year old prince Jr. GM's younger brother whose 9 years old caught the garter! The 9 year old put on the garter to my Jr. BM! Here's a pic capturing the funny moment!

I had to go (I mean GO) to the bathroom...and since I didn't have a train...I could go by myself...but still couldn't see much...so i must have used a half a roll of toilet paper....and clogged the toilet in the bridal suite!!!

OK I can't remember the funniest moment of that day itself, but looking at the proofs DH went completely HYSTERICAL!! It took me awhile to notice his 'Kramer' hair, but once I did I was laughing just as hard!!!!

It looks a little darker online, don't know if it was as funny, but we were crying laughing!

My 7 year old niece was our flower girl. She is so dainty, she choose her own dress, decided how she wanted her hair done, told me she wanted the flower halo, had her nails done, etc. She's all dolled up, so beautiful... we start walking down the aisle and she is literally throwing the petals at the people in the pews, not on the runner at all, it was too funny. All the way down, I don't think I saw 1 petal on the runner. She really wailed them at the pews!

well, that would have to be when a friend of Al's (one of his roommate's from Stanford) started getting down and doing the worm.

As if that wasn't bad enough...a circle forms around him so he's center stage. At that precise moment that everyone is watching him do his thing with the worm, a pipe falls out of one pocket and a bag of weed out of the other.

All caught on video tape to torture him with forever.

April, that is hysterical! Misty, that is so funny and cool that your DH's brother did that. Lisa, OMG!

One of our GM's, a good friend of mine and Gary's, were dancing on the dance floor and I was joking around with him, pulling him close to me and he kept saying 'Stace, your parents are right there', so of course I had to keep it up. I felt like we were in HS!!

It had to be when my mom was playing with a blow up guitar and she was doing a 'chuck berry' and she slid on to the floor and to not look dumb she made she like kept playing guitar.

BEDDA The couple that won my anniversary dance are married 55 yrs and they are in their 80's!

My funny moment was the same as LizD's. My flower girl apparently had no idea that she had to throw the petals on the flower so instead she walked down the aisle and pelted the people in the pews. My limo driver came out hystericaly laughing to tell me. I can't wait to see it on the video.

I was on the dance floor dancing and DH's friend camoe over to talk to me, so as I'm dancing and he's talking my straps broke!! He nearly had a heart attack!! They practically needed to butter me to get me in the dress, so the straps gving way did not give anyone a freebie.. But the look on our friends face was priceless. It took him months before he could look me in the eye!!
