ITA. I get what the OP was asking, but it may have come across the wrong way. To answer the question though, i think people go cause they want to- not cause there is a point necessarily. Its like us being on here talking to eachother everyday, its just because we like it!!

i read that comment more like 'i guess i'm not as much of a loser and into this site like YOU all are'

i'm sure the poster didn't mean it (well i hope not) but it sure sounds like that.

i've been to a TWOTY before and it is FUN as HELL!! i bought tix to the 2008 TWOTY when I was a NW, cause I knew how much fun it would be, but ended up giving up my tix cause it sold out so fast and figured it would be better for an 08er to go instead of me. But the prizes you can win, aren't just for 'wedding' stuff. Plus its good eats and lots of fun.

who the heck wouldn't want to go to that?

Well you have over 7000 posts so Id day your pretty involved in the site....

I personally am not going...I joined the site late and didnt do any of the G2G's...but a lot of the girls on here are friends through the site, are friends with Yelly and the BM's and want to go hang with eachother and see Yelly and her DH and the Bm's.

Since Im not going to TWOTY and in that sense Im on the outside....I have to say you sound kind of rude with your comments...Im not sure if this is your intention but it is coming off that way, to me at least.

Thank you for understanding me. Some people expect or I guess look for drama in innocent posts ....yeh, I have over 7,000 posts. Over 6,900 of them were from when I joined up until my wedding. I come onto NW bored to check in and when to pass time when I am bored. I've stuck around because it's fun to see pics and hear updates...I'm more of a lurker these days though. I like to do things like see pics of babies and hear good news like that from people I read about for over a year.

I have friends on the 09 and 10 boards and answer questions for them. Other than that, I am not on all day and night and go days without coming on...hence the reason it took me so long to even read this. So for anyone looking deeper into my words than intended, no...I wasn't putting this event down...just genuinely confused about the point of it.

I had said it sounded rude, the tone of it was condesending...that is my opinion. As far as stirring up drama you have enough posts under your belt to know what will and will not stir drama if you didnt want drama Im guessing you wouldnt have had the tone or the title to the post

first...I totally wish I were going to the TWOTY....I would love to see the type of fully loaded wedding I didn't have.

But take it easy on the poster....I didn't join the site till May 08, so I had no idea what the heck people were talking about, and it was a little hard to comprehend. It takes a little while to figure out LIW code.

Anyhow, have fun, and it will be great to see the pix, I know danielle will be beautiful!

2 of my cousins are getting married in '10 and they are going so I am going with as a date.. I've been before and it's fun.. plus they went through all of the wedding planning stuff with us.. so we want to do it all with them
