I had a tea party theme. There are tons of tea houses to look into. What town do you want to have the shower in?

My sister is doing a Mad Hatter's Tea Party theme for her Sweet 16. We bought giant tea cup and are planting flowers in them. Then I bought Alice in Wonderland playing cards from Prospero Art and we are spreading them all over the tables. The favors are cookies shaped as playing cards and stop watches. I wanted ones that said 'Eat Me' but my stepmother vetoed this idea because the kids are 16.

The invites are awesome and have quotes from the movies. I will scan them. The whole thing was an envelopment that outside said, 'Open Me'. Then there was another envelope that said 'Read me'. The directions were in another envelope that said 'Follow Me'.

She is getting a topsy turvy cake where each layer is something from Alice in Wonderland.

You can do a tea party with this theme. All mismatched cups and saucers. Stacked platters of sandwiches, pastries, scones, salads, etc.
