I think bloomberg is 100% to blame but the sanitation workers are just getting stuck with the blame by people.

aahhh people are bringing this up on LIF too!! it's ridiculous that people and the media are blaming the DSNY workers. They are working so hard. Perhaps the media and complainers should get their assses in a plow and see what it's like.

Aawww, Colleen, that sucks!! 2 of my husband's best friends work for the county & were working too, so I get what you mean. Poor guy! Not for nothing, but I my parent's street is CLEAN, thank goodness for these guys! And by where I live in North Carolina, if it snows even a half inch EVERYTHING shuts down and no one goes out and stays inside until the snow melts like 3 days later.
