Some days we call more than others depending on how busy we are...all DH's calls are recorded so we barely say anything but yet we have to check in....

I used to hate that and i always had to remind dh. I was never one to really talk on the phone at work, i hated it and didnt need everyone around me to hear my private convo's so i usually called from cell phone when i went out. But sometimes he would call my direct line if he needed to ask me something quick and i would be very short with him on the phone and he would always get annoyed. I always had to remind him that HELLO ALL PHONE CALLS ARE RECORDED

I know it is scary..when he first started I said a couple things that could have gotten him in trouble and since then I am soooo careful but it makes our conversations sooo boring hahah we talk about meals, laundry, and tell eachother love you, miss you thats about it! haha

I never call DH! lmaoo. I email him usually. He calls me when he is leaving work.

I can't stand being on the phone for me reason and the question 'whatcha doing' makes my skin crawl

Well...dh and I talk maybe 3 times through out the day through phone calls. He will call me on his breaks everyday. We act like we are still dating lol He calls me just to say 'I love you' or 'I miss you' I do the same. Its nice

Dh calls me once a day between 1 and 120... if calls me for some other reason at a diffrent time,, i think something is wrong

DH, however, calls me a lot just to say hi. LOL. It's cute, it lets me know he's thinking about me, which i appreciate, but sometimes he'll be like, 'hi, whats up' and i'm like, 'the same thing that was up an hour ago -- i'm working'

OMG I thought the same EXACT thing when I read that.

My Step-father actually does this to my Mother. We work in the same office together . I WANT TO SHOOT HIM AND THE PHONE

Literally the phone calls are anywhere from 15- 20 a day and if she doesn't pick up b/c she is WORKING than he keeps calling the other line and than starts on her cell!!
It is soo bad I want to tell him and the phone to Eff OFF!

B/C he is like this it makes me not interested in calling DH that much - I 'd say the only reasons we speak is for a reason or to ask a quick question , other than that we try to limit it so we have stuff to talk about from our day when we get home.

i'll usually call DH twice during the day - once on lunch and once to let him know i'm coming home

i travel around A LOT for work... so he worries about me ESP in this weather... kim can justify this b/c i travel to Mt Sinai once a week and those roads can be BAD in the snow/ice!

but, some days we talk more or less than that

My DH works on the 17th floor (where I used to work) and for the past 3 yrs I work on the 10th and we call each other throughout the day, email each other throughout the day, and go to lunch almost everyday...you would think we would be sick of one another, but this has been like this for the past 6yrs (working at my job for 8 yrs) and it never gets tiring.

P.S. we call each other throughout the day but they are 3 min convos

I guess we just text more than anything if we have a quick question.

My annoyance is with the people that do it here at work So if your hub is not answering the phone...why do you keep calling every 5 seconds! That is what annoys me!

God, I am one of those wives. How embarrassing. I talk to Dh about 4 or 5 times a day when he is at work
Than we normally talk once on his train ride home. He never said he doesn't like it or it annoys him. I am sure it annoys him, I am going to try to stop this.

I try to txt him he is like txt illiterate plus he cannot see the buttons or the message. He won't get glasses
