I think I lost my social security card ALREADY!

Yes, the one with my new name! How does this happen?!?!

I broke the rule by carrying it with me- I was going to bring it to work to update payroll- never got there and it stayed in my pocketbook. stupid me has downsized to this tiny pocketbook with no room for a wallet, so I keep everything in the zipper. DUMB DUMB DUMB.

Please tell me not to worry about ID theft! Is there anything I can do?I wish it was like credit cards, where you can just change the number! UGH
