asking me when we're going to have babies!!!!


I'M SO ANNOYED UGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHG

i'm very jet lagged (flew in on a torturous 13 hr flight on friday) all i want to do is rest!

mom and sister were asking me if i felt pregnant?!?!?!!!?

and then when are u going to have kids

i flipped out and told them never...

gosh we're not ready...not now, not this year maybe huge maybe 2012...

i totally feel your pain .... i was really surprised too because my family isn't the kind to be pushy about having babies ....

i just told them that i will not be makin' babies for at least 2 years .... and only if DH and I own a house by then, so don't even bother asking me before that!

they still bring it up ... but not quite as often.

Don't ever mention that you don't feel well, especially if it's stomach related. It's automatically assumed that if you are married and sick then you must be pregnant.

Yes, because the only thing we are able to do post-wedding is focus on pushing humans through our loins after giving up booze and caffeine for nine months.

my mom told me a few days ago that the younger you are when having kids, the smarter and healthier they are ... apparently i'm getting old and need to hurry up with the baby-making ... but um ... i'm 29 ....

I CANT STAND IT!!!!

and its not just my mom, its my sister and my cousins (they both have kids)

i want to travel, enjoy life w/my dh, be carefree, enjoy the city, go out...

It doesn't stop! I put up 'praying' on FB because of my Great Uncle and DH's aunt messages me 'YOU'RE PREGNANT?!?!?!?!? If not, what are you praying for?' I wrote back 'Are you insane? NO WE ARE NOT PREGNANT!'

His family brings it up ALL THE TIME and I think if it gets brought up one more time either he's going to have to handle it (he's really quiet and probably won't) or I'm going to say something and they aren't going to like what I have to say! I want kids but we don't have a house yet and DH isn't ready yet...PEOPLE S*CK but at least we all feel your pain!

Thankfully my family is the opposite and keep telling us to wait...although that can get annoying to- people just need to mind their own buisness! Even if they are family!

My mom was kinda annoying with the whole waiting thing but lately she's stopped a bit. I get it, you're too young to me a grandma and I should just close my legs! Let me be!

What a bunch of baloney - I'm hispanic also, and thankfully have made it very clear to all my friends and family that we have NO PLANS at all of EVER HAVING KIDS, period! (I'm 34, DH is 41). I have no desire to overpopulate the world with more screaming babies and kids that may never get Social Security when they reach retirement age.

F*^^& that. I don't get the whole 'have kids ASAP' mentality. I really don't.

yup get used to it

MIL was constantly making comments on FB regarding babies so everyone thought I was pregnant. We finally had to tell her to stop with the FB comments!!

If I were you, I'd just tell everyone that every time anyone brings up, mentions, asks or comments about when you're going to have kids, you're going to add a year more of waiting.

LOL I am hispanic and the fact that I got married in 5 months spread pregnancy rumors among my family! then AFTER the wedding the questions started!
