I'm 30 and DH is 32 -- we agree that we'll start to TTC next summer even though I'm a little scared of being pregnant (i'll get over it). I'd like at least 2 children (being an only child I want more than 1) and we are both established in our careers so there really isn't a reason to wait. Just seems so soon!

I'll be ready when I'm prepared to stop going out to nice dinners and out on the weekend. At this point, I'm not ready.

Don't know if this is a direct answer to your Q. but here goes...I WISH I could be there (TTC) but the reality is I am 31 and not happy with my Job, we are living with FIL and nowhere near getting a house for at least 16 mos. I am looking into a career change but that would mean I would have to commit at least 2yrs to it and I don't want to have babies after 35.
Soo.... If I 'accidentally' get pregnant, it would be a blessing in disguise but practically speaking we should wait.
