I went to the Dr....F M L!!!!!

So I went to the Doctor for my Sinus Infection and he told me based on my BMI, I am obese and would need to lose 10 pounds just to be considered overweight. I told him that I just need my antibiotics because I am ready to put my head through the window. He went on for about 10-15 about how I am not allowed to pan fry anything, I have to eat fish at least 2 times a week and next time I go to see him, I should have lost at least 40 pounds ... I was laughing while he was measuring me and having me standing on a scale, etc, etc, etc because I am sick as a dog, but I respect his honesty!! I told him I already lost 40 pounds and I know I have a ways to go, but please just give me my meds and he was talking about oatmeal....

I think you look great.

Actually, I heard this from my doc when I was younger and they still say things to me.

When I was about 13 or 14, the doc told me that I shouldn't have more than one bowl of pasta when I have dinner. My Dad and I thought it would be funny to put the big pasta serving bowl as my bowl at dinner. My Mom thought was was so insensitive, but we were cracking up!

The bad part was that I actually wanted her to serve me in that bowl.

I love me some pasta!

What? You look tiny! We all need to lead healthier lifestyles... but geez 40 pounds?

Did you tell him if he gave you medication and were no longer sick you might actually be able to take care of yourself better? I can't work out or eat right when I am sick...

He was telling the truth. I know I am overweight, but I didn't know that a size 10 was obese!! Sweeeeet!!! As I left, I said good bye and he replied with don't forget portion control. I was actually cracking up.

I was a size 10 about a year or 2 ago and I'm like 7 inches shorter than you!

Uhhhhh...you must have a 40 pound pinky finger that you are hiding in picture because you are in no way obese! I know I'm not a doctor, but I have eyeballs.

Oh, and I'm 5'11' and a size 10 or 12 (depending on the store). I would hate to hear what your doctor has to say about me .

dude I was a size 10 two years ago and I'm 5'2! i saw you like a month ago and you are NOT obese, not even overweight!!! at a size 10 and 5'2 I doubt you even have 40 pounds on you to lose without being minuscule. could we all stand to lose 5, 10, even 20 sure but 40....methinksnot!

next time, go in eating a chocolate bar!

What is wrong with your Dr?? you are far from being obese. Saw you Saturday and you were a healthy normal weight. You need to change dr's.

Those BMI numbers are stupid. Acccording to these numbers they consider LaDainian Tomlinson obese!
