If you could do Hawaii again...

How would you do it? More nights..less nights somewhere? Not do a certain trip?
Not jump around islands so much?
Stay at a difference resort?

I just got back from Maui. I really love that island but I want to go to Kauai and the Big Island too.

Last year we went to Maui and we did too much running around. This time we relaxed a lot and didnt do too much and it was so much more fun.

I stayed 6 days Oahu and 7 Kauai. if I had to go again I would only do 3 days Oahu and spend the rest of the time in kauai.
I loved Kauai

I went years ago, but we went to Oahu and Kauai. I wouldn't go back to Oahu, I hated Waikiki. Maybe spend one day in Oahu to see Pearl Harbor memorial (Since my selfish stepmom didn't want to go, so none of us went)
I would spend more time in Kauai and I'd like to see Maui.
I am so in love with Kauai!

We did a cruise, so we got to see most of the islands for at least one day.

If I had it to do again, I would stay in Maui for the bulk of the trip, with at least two days/nights in Kauai to see all the beautiful scenery there.

Oahu is good for the Pearl Harbor memorial and Diamond Head, but I would pick one and make it a day trip. Waikiki is like being in Manhattan to me. Bad cab drivers, congestion, sky scrapers.

The Big Island was nice, but nothing spectacular stood out to me.

Maui just had the best of both worlds to me - scenery, beaches and shopping, nightlife.

I would stay the whole time in Kauai. WE LOVED KAUAI!!!

But I am glad we went to Maui and Oahu. Next time, it's all Kauai.

Not stay at the Princeville on Kauai....maybe do more things on the road to hanna, but not feel bad if we didn't even go on the roadd to hana again...

we spent 1 full day on oahu and i think i'd stay 2-3 nights...also a few more days on maui

We would never leave!

But in the real world:
We would stay two weeks instead of ten days.
We'd stay 7 nights on Kauai first then 7 on Maui instead of doing Maui first. Kauai was more relaxing and we needed that after the wedding and long trip. On Maui we would do the Road to Hanna, which we missed and definitely do the volcano bike ride again.

Spend more time on Kaui..LOVED this island
