There is not much I would have changed! I guess I got lucky because I was very happy with my wedding day!

The only vendor I would never use again is Coach for my shuttle bus. They were my only headache the day of!

A few family/inlaw things, I wish I could change but that isn't possible if I wanted to marry my DH.

The only thing important thing I would change would be to set aside time to spend some 'alone time' with my MOH on the day of the wedding. I did see her and spend time with her, but not by ourselves, and that would have been nice.......

I would of hired someone like Michele31 did to help me in running things smoothly. I felt to incharge of the little things and could of been enjoying myself that much more.
Everything else was pretty perfect.
More time would of been nice. 5 Hours goes by to fast

Re: If you could do things all over again...

I had the most perfect wedding day in my eyes :) There's not much I would change completely, but I would have done the following differently if I could have done it all over again:

1. Only asked my sisters and best friend to be bridesmaids. My friends from HS were nothing but grief

2. I would have picked a different bridesmaid dress and not cared what the bridal party thought - sorry to be mean on this one, but I let a few BM's dictate what they wanted and the color didn't show up well in photos (I would still go with sage green, but a darker one at that!)

3. I would have timed the Mass and reception start times differently. We ran late and missed our cocktail hour (guests enjoyed it though!).

4. And the biggest in my eyes - I would have been more firm with the seamstress and tell her what I wanted. I had a strapless dress and it was too loose in the boob area so I had to adjust it all day. There are a few good pictures I had to reject because my bra was popping up. It was a $2100 dress and it didn't feel like it. I loved it though!!

That's all I can think of now. I loved all my vendors.

Would have hired a different florist.

Would have started getting ready even EARLIER!

Would have removed chairs/tables in smoking area

I think thats it. Overall the day was wonderful and I wouldnt do it over again to be able to fix the things that went a little awry.

Overall my day was wonderful. At the last minute, we decided to meet before the ceremony and take pictures, and we were thrilled to have made the change....it made the whole day flow better.

I would have used a different cake lady - mine came highly recommended and she didn't do what we asked for

The only other thing I can think of is dancing more with my DH. We were all on the dance floor all night, but I feel like I was with my girlfriends and family more! It's hard when everyone's pulling you in a different direction on the dance floor, but we got a few good dances in together.

Other than that we couldn't have been happier with our day

We would have used a different photographer. All of our pics were posed- and as I see everyone elses on LIWeddings I get jealous- because we paid 3000$ for less than 300 proofs.

I would have dried my bouquet- it was gorgeous but we left for the honeymoon the day after and I didn't even think about it until after we got back.

But otherwise, everything was perfect!

I would have gone to bed earlierthe night before! My friends and I were up till 2:30am, and up at 5! Hair and make up started at 5:30! I felt fine, I just felt I could have looked better with a little more sleep!

I would of definetely booked a different band.

Booked a different photographer.

Had someone different that did my hair.

Gave myself more time the day of.

I would of tried to feel less stressed too.

Not invited some guests that we had to have in DH's family, but would never have again.

Other than that, it was a wonderful day! I am glad I got to experieence the planning and share it with everyone on here!

Re: If you could do things all over again...

I'm grateful that my day was close to perfect and for the most part, I wouldn't change a thing. But, so many things are our of control especially what other people do.
1. I would have practiced dancing in my dress!
2. I would have made sure my dad showed up on time (he did-10 mintues before he walked me down the aisle)
3. I would have made sure my stepmom was on time and didn't miss the ceremony (my stepsister yelled at her for me)!
4. About a dozen people missed our ceremony, and that's out of 62 people, so I would have warned them about weekend traffic going out East in June.
5. I would not have invited my drunk friend back to our hotel to hang out for a while (along with other sober friends/family), so that she didn't insist on staying in our room and ultimately ruining our wedding night! Long story....but thank God she finally left.
6. Picked a last dance song, DJ ended up playing 'Last Dance'

Re: If you could do things all over again...

This is my third time doing this and the list has not changed. I loved our wedding day and the little things does not change or overshadow the memory that I have.

1) I would have rented a dress instead of buying

2) I would have reminded my Dj to have us jump the broom

3) I would have reminded my photographer to take some fun shots that I wanted such as, us in the limo, the girls and I in the limo, the program basket and the bubbles basket.

4) I would have checked my lipstick

5) I would have gone ahead and paid the extra to get the 4 seater Rolls Royce that I really wanted instead of the stretch for hubby and I, I really wanted that car, he said the extra money was not worth it

5) I would have nixed the gloves, I wore them to the alter and as soon as the pastor told us to hold hands I got rid of them and that was it.

6) I would have done the hydrengeas and roses for the pews

7) I wish I could have invited more of my friends but then our guest list would have been way too much.

8) I wish I had had my photographer's assistant go to take some getting ready shots of hubby, his brother took the ones we have.

9) I wish I had remembered to take the table shot with all the tables, I forgot...had too much fun...hubby and I did not leave the dance floor, we dance to every song

10) I wish I had worn my veil a little higher on my head for my ceremony.

11) I wish I had noticed that my cake was naked and had my hall put its clothes on...LOL

12) The ladies and I stayed up way too late...I wish I had the time, like they do on tv when you talk with each girl and thank her etc, etc. They made me brkst but I did not even eat it. I gave them their cards when we came back from our HM. I would have loved to have done it on the morning of.

Looking back, the little things definitely does not change the wonderful memories and the wonderul time that we had. I am probably the only person that noticed any of these things I loved my wedding day so much, I look at our pictures every day.

Shamma..I wish photographer took more fun shots too of me and the girls in limo.
I guess the only thing was the weather. It was very HOT that day!!!!

I wish I didnt stress over little details, not many people would have noticed, at least I dontthink they did.

I wouldnt cahnge anything else. I LOVED the way the day went, my dress looked, the BM's, flowers, all the way down to my vendors. I would have not changed anything!!!!

Re: If you could do things all over again...

I would have rented the hall for the entire day (or an extra hour or two)...I didn't want to leave...and so many people were there until the end dancing...we ended up moving the party anyway

I would have more hair trials...and I would not have used my make-up woman...

Re: If you could do things all over again...

Overall our day was wonderful but if I were to do it over again:

1) Booked a different photog. - our pics are nice but overall too posed, and not enough proofs.

2) Checked my lipstick and blotted my face towards the end of the nite!

3) Had more group and table picture shots

4) ate more!
