If you won the lottery what would you change about your life?

I'd go on a crazy shopping spree to prepare for my long vacation in Europe (Mykonos here I come!!!)

I would travel everywhere. First stop - Italy. Get a new car, go shopping, finish fixing up my house and maybe buy a few more houses.

Pay off student loans and morgage.
Buy a bigger house, and new furniture.

How much cash have I won?

If it was a lot of money I would pay off all our debt, I would buy my parents a place in the city near DH and I and pay off my sisters college loans. I would buy a house in Khao Lak, Thailand on the beach. I'd tell DH to quit his job and do what he really wants to do: write. I would spend a small fortune in Bergdorf Goodman!

I don;t think I would want much to change. I would definitely though pay off my student loan and my car loan, buy a house, travel, and invest it.

here's what i'd do....

pay off our debt and our parents' mortgages
pay off our family's debts
send money to steve's family in ecuador.
buy a house here in CA, and one on LI.
travel the WORLD.
go to culinary school just for fun.
donate to various charities.
and buy my friends a TON of jetblue giftcards so they can come visit me allllll the time!

buy a large home in port jeff, with a view of the harbor, redo the kitchen with professional appliances, and stop writing NIH grants. DH and I would squat in stony brook and fund our own research.

(you have no idea how luxurious it would be to not worry about grants, and just do what we love!)

vacations aren't that high on the priority scale, since work takes us lots of interesting places. Not worry about grants would be golden!

First I would quit my job immediately (if I won enough to never work again).
I'd travel the world and enjoy my life with my husband. We'd buy things we can't afford now like a beautiful house and a new car and other things (but we wouldn't overdo it).
I'd also donate a lot to various charities and foundations, and put most in savings. And help out our family and friends with whatever they need.
I want to win the lotto so bad!!!

First I would pay off all our bills.. then I would buy houses for us, my mom and my sister all in the same cul de sac.. I would buy a home in florida and maybe a home on a tropical island somewhere

1. Hire lawyer and financial advisor.
2. Change phone number.
3. Quit job.
4. Become philanthopist.
5. Travel, learn languages, train for endurance sports events, and generally do all that self-improvements stuff that I don't have time for because of that darned job.

I would run to Saks and get a new wardrobe.

I would quit my job, and get a new job or go back to school to do something that helps people.

I would travel to all the places I dream of travelling.

I'd pay off my house, and put enough in a savings so I'd never have to worry.

I'd give all the rest to people who are sick to spend however they choose.

I would buy a fantastic apartment in the city and a house on the beach in Costa Rica and a great boat, I would pay off my student debt and our families' mortgages and debts, I would quit my job and sit on the board of charities instead, I would give money to charities that are not as popular that people forget about, I would take a year to travel the world and then I would come back and open a restaurant. Oh and I would shop until there was not a fabulous bag left in a store - anywhere- Oh and I suppose DH would need a fabulous car (he is obsessed with cars)/
