I loved my trip out in a limo to the vineyards, but that's b/c I'm not the strip show kinda girl

Remember that sunflower fields pic I posted a while back? It was from that day out at Pindar

I kept mine simple. We went to dinner and then to Culture Club.

Yea, I was thinking about your b-party Teri! How much did it cost to have the limo drive you around all day? And what exactly did you do all day? If I hired one from Brooklyn they would charge a fortune...but maybe there are companies who do tours like this that wouldnt charge so much?

Luke and I visited the wineries out there last year and it was fun but we only spent a short time at 3 or 4. But doing the limo thing might be a lot more fun.

I just had dinner/drinks with a group of girls that I worked with in CA....my BP and friends did nothing for me in NY.

I did dinner and dancing and lots of drinking with the girls. We went to Cafe Espanol (downtown) and they did a really nice price fix for us (need min. of 15 people - I think). They had choice of like family style mixed appetizers, 5-6 entrees (and made exception for a friend who was a vegetarian), desssert and all you can drink sangria or beer. It was like $30pp. The gave us a large table in a back room. Then we went to a bar/lounge for dancing. Had some silly bachelorette games (my friend brought the cards for That Guy Game that I brought to her bachelorette party).

I keep saying that we have to all go back and do that again! We all had a great time

Not sure how much the limo cost - a few hundred I think, but it wasn't insane. There are a few that specifically do vineyard tours so you should call around - I can look up the Co. we used if you want.

We were picked up in Central Nassau around 11 AM, and headed out to the North Fork. We stopped at 4 all together and spent about 30 mins - 1 hr at each. The key is to bring a basket of cheese, crackers and snacks with you. That way, you can taste wine, decide which you want and buy the bottle to drink on their premises somewhere. On a nice day it can be a lot of fun!

We originally wanted to do dinner out there too, but that would have been way too much money with the limo, so we came back to nassau and went to a local place.

Re: Info about your bachelorette parties?

I was ditched by both of my best girlfriends for my bachelorette party.(they took me out to dinner a week later but that wasn’t too much fun!).

So my sister 9MOH) and I were on our own. We had sushi at Monster sushi (Yumm), then proceeded to have a few shots at the bar right next to the Hunkamania, where my sister made reservations prior. Than we went to Hunkomania where I was violated by the most gorgeouse men ever (yumm again) (those who been there know what I am talkign about)

Then we went to a Russian Dance club which is no longer danced like crazy, got picked up by men (even though they knew I was getting married in 2 weeks ) and were finally driven home by 2 very nice and very respectful young gentlemen.

I can say in all honesty that it was one the best nights of my entire life!!!

We went to Lucky Chang's in the Village. I laughed my a$$ off and then we went out drinking. It's not unique but it was a ton of fun.

What about to a Karoke bar (there is that place....what is the name-sorry I am blank) in the city and lots of drinks. You would be guaranteed laughs! And I am not a Kaoke fan.

8 of us went away for the weekend. We went to the Jersey shore. Bars, comedy club, dinner, beach, etc. We had a great time.
The location worked out perfectly for everyone because it wasnt too far.

Re: Info about your bachelorette parties?

I had 3 separate ones by accident!

All my friends at work took me and another girl who was also getting married out for dinner and then dancing at PollyEsther's. Had the best time!

Then about a month before the wedding I went out with a few of my local friends to NapperTandy's in Massapequa, where we all got hit on by a group of guys.

Then I went out with a few girls in my BP for just dinner about a week before I got married.

We met at my sister's for a light snack and then went to a couple different bars downtown. We ended up in one with an 80's DJ and a good bartender. I think it was called Smithfields or something like that.

Re: Info about your bachelorette parties?

If you have access to the Long Island Pennysaver or town crier, they have limo companies in them that are pretty reasonable. I remember seeing one of them offer a vineyard package. They also have some pretty nice limos. I called one of them the day of my friends Bachelorette party at the last minute to get us a limo to drop us in the city and they sent us a beautiful white stretch lexus limo. Let me know if you want me to get you some of their numbers!!
