Is anyone else dreading writing thank yous?

I have thembut have some sort of mental block to writing them. Is it just me?

DH & I did 10 a night!....sometimes DH would give up and stop at 5 but it works!

Just do it & get it over with! You will feel SO much better when you are done.

Go to the post office & get stamps today. Write out 10 tonight. Then 10 tomorrow, etc...

And mail them out AS SOON as you write them. They will be done & out in a week. Just get it over with.

i'm nuts and soooo didn't want to do them so i did them all in one day then i didn't have to dread them every night. then i told DH to sign every single one next to my name... i could have killed him! I went to get my hair cut i come home to find, he 'signed' them like a credit card slip, I couldn't read his damn name!!! every single one!

I think that is why i havent done mine....anything not to completely take responsibility for my actions or lack there of

I'm so gladto know that I am not the only one! I am going to try to start them this weekend!

Anyone have some stuff they plan on writing?


I wrote with a slight variation on each

Dear so and so,

thank you for spending our special day with us. It meant a lot (or so much) to have you there. We hope you enjoyed yourself as much as we did. And thank you for your generous gift. (I changed that up with very generous gift if it was a stretch for the person or they gave a huge gift)

you laugh, but i actually considered writting them all over, i was fuming mad! i'm so anal that i couldn't understand how he could do that!!!!

I got mine and finished them Dec. 30th. Whew!! I was sooo happy to get them done!!
