Is it Just me?!?

I thought there was a pinned thread about the newlywed boards being for 'newlyweds only' And I know we talked about this awhile ago on here, but its still not back.. Are other brides now allowed to post here? i know that I only read what was on here, until I was married because the thread made it clear, it was for newlyweds only...

This always seemed like sacred ground to me before the wedding .... I think I only posted on here a couple of questions the week before my wedding 'cause I needed help ASAP from the newlyweds and the 07 and 06 boards were dead.

It seems like the brides-to-be post on here all the time with questions that belong on brides-helping-brides instead

i never posted on here as a bride to be mainly 'cause i didn't know it existed...but honestly, i think it's fine for girls to post questions if they need to, asking us married ladies who have already been there for advice...it's not like they're commenting on our fun posts or anything . I like being helpful towards brides to be 'cause i was grateful when girls would help me in my own planning. there's no harm in it.

Actually i agree with you 100% that its okay to post questions and I also agree that they shouldn't be posting to 'our' threads, but thats where i think the problem is.. I see them doing that, thats why i was asking.. Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this way

lol...PLEASE..that's ridiculous. it's just a forum...last i checked there was no such think as board police. whatever - it's really not a big deal lol. i have more important things to care about than being mad over an innocent brides post.

By no means do i get offended at all.. But I just think there are boards for reasons.. Like if you post something on the 'wrong' board over on LIF they move it within in seconds and repost to the correct board

Heather I hear what you are saying. When I was not a newlywed I would check out this board and laugh at all the funny threads & posts. I did not post/reply because I wanted to wait till I was indeed a newlywed. One time, I accidently posted and felt bad seeing as I was not a newlywed but that's me. As they say different strokes different folks. For me it was another way to relate to LIW gals & celebrate being married as silly as that might sound.

yup! same here! i was so excited to finally 'join' over here...didn't wanna ruin it by posting beforehand....it would've been like peeking at christmas presents before christmas.

I'm with Dayna 110 %. I never posted here, nor asked any questions. Thats what brides helping brides is for. TJMO.
