that all the stomach issues I encountered this fall and winter was a result of the pill. You know how I stopped taking it because I felt it had caused my weight gain. Well since I stopped taking it I haven't had any stomach pain. And I even drank red wine last night.
It seems odd that a BC would cause that. But it also seems odd that since I stopped taking it I feel better. I also feel less gross and happier.
All my stomach problems started in October and I switched to this pill in September. So timing wise its possible.
So if Loestrin 24 fe was causing my stomach issues, my depression and my weight gain... basically I paid $50 a month to feel miserable.

OMG it's totally possible. If that's the case stop the pill asap!! I know this isn't the same but I remember a few yrs back I started taking some kind of vitamin and months later I couldnt figure out why I was having such terrible stomach pains/issues that werent getting resolved. I was about to schedule an appt with a gastroenterologist to see what was going on and then something clicked that it started around the time I started the vitamin, as soon as I stopped it my stomach was back to normal.
Hope you feel better

I already stopped taking it because I thought it was making me fat and I feel 100% better which is why I think its been the pill all along (for 8 months). I spent all fall going through tests. CATS, colonoscopys, going from doctor to doctor.

It is definitely possible. Each pill effects everyone differently. I don't know much about stomach pains, but the depression and weight gain definitely happened to me. I went off 3 years ago and will never go on another pill ever again because of how depressed it made me. I'm a different person now, and way happier.

I think you have figured out what was causing you to feel so crappy. I'm actually happy for you that it was the pill and not some other issues. I hate BC pills, they affect people in so many ways and what ***** is that this pill that did this to do was the same one I took and I had no side effects whatsoever, everyones body is different. I'm just glad u stopped taking it and that you already feel much better!!

Re: Is it possible...
I had a similar situation - I was getting chronic migraines. I've always been a migraine sufferer, so for months I thought it had just gotten worse. I went to the general practioner and he told me to keep a journal for six months to learn about my triggers. I told him I was convinced it was the pill and he basically told me it wasn't possible. I took myself off the next month and didn't have a single headache.
