Is it okay for your bridal shower, b-party, and wedding to all be within the same month like for example
Jan 1 = Shower Jan 7 = B-party Jan 14 = Wedding
Like I know the b-party is usually close to the wedding but then shouldn't the shower be a little earlier?
I'd like to hear both sides of this....Did anyone have a positive experience having everything all close together? Did anyone have negatives? Was everything all spread out, did you like it that way, yay or nay?
My shower date was April 11th My b-party was July 26th The wedding was August 1st

See I have 2 weddings this summer plus I'm in my cousins in the beginning of Nov.....so in my opinion dedicating 3 summer weekends in a row to just one bride just seems like a lot to me.
Plus I know all her fam is here in NY so thats not an issue abt ppl traveling and her bachelorette party is out of NY state. I know it's not her fault b/c its her bridal party planning the other stuff but geez.

I think it should be spread apart, ideally, two months.
My shower was August 22, as was my bparty. My wedding was October 23.
I would have preferred not to have both on the same day, and I thought I made that clear, but oh well. I had a good time.
ETA that one of my BMs was getting married October 3 and I was one of her BMs, so I did want to make sure none of our stuff interfered with each other!

It is terrible that I dont remember dates except for the wedding??? My shower was mid July, my bachelorette party was late August and my wedding was October 31st.

I think it should be spread out a bit
Shower-October 3rd B-Party- December 26th Wedding-January 2nd
My shower was January 23 My b party was March 27 My wedding was April 10

Also I think a lot of things change when you take into account where the bride lives/where her family lives etc. ... that can cause things to either be all bunched up or super spread out.

I feel better now, bc I was about to say the same thing.
I know my shower was sometime in May... I think? B-party was June maybe? Wedding was 7/24, I know that one.
ETA: It was bothering me so I had to look it up..
Shower: June 7th BParty: July 11th Wedding: July 24th I was way off.

my bridal shower was at the end of june my 1st bach party was in mid july my 2nd and 3rd bach parties were in early august and the wedding was on august 22nd

Technically its supposed to be close together. My mom was mortified that my shower was over two months before my wedding. For those who don't know my mom was a real stickler about 'proper' wedding etiquette. We butted heads over 'proper' vs. modern etiquette several times.
Mine was:
Shower: June 6 Bachelorette: June 20 Wedding: August 8
But my shower was determined by my college's reunion weekend since my MOH lives in Paris and only wanted to make one trip to the US before the wedding.

it all seems to close... personally, i enjoyed having my shower, bparty and wedding spread out a few weeks between each. its exhausting to be booked for 3 weekends straight too

I dont think there is anything wrong with it. My friend had everything in 1 month and it was the best month of our lives the fun never stopped

BParty - Aug 1 Shower - Aug 8 Wedding - Oct 11
I wanted to make sure that my friends would be able to go to both my bparty & shower...and since most were returning to school by the end of Aug, I asked that both parties be planned during the summer before they went back.
