Re: Is This Normal?

Oh my goodness I thought I was the only one who was like this!!!

It makes no sense, though - you'd think I'd feel that way if I was still not married , right? I also feel a tad jealous when I hear about my other friends getting engaged. Its strange because there is no reason to be jealous when I just got married!!

Like Joy said, I think its mainly because they are on the beginnning of this exciting time of their lives, starting to make wedding plans, etc ..........whereas we are done with that aspect of our relationships and are settling into 'normal' life again. So this MUST be where the envy stems from

So I think its completely normal (at least I hope so, or else we're all nuts!! )

PS: Welcome Back, Michal

Re: Is This Normal?

Welcome back Michal! I think what you're feeling is totally normal. Even with all the stress, planning your wedding is such an amazing time. Now your friends get to have that fun, but it's over for you. I wish I could go back and do (some of it) all over again.

Just remember that even though wedding planning is over, there are still so many other good things to look forward to!
