ok so my neice is in preschool...the other day she got a note home saying it was teacher appreciation day and they'suggest' all kids bring a gift for the teacher and the 2 paras...i was a liitle put off by that but whatever every teacher deserves a small gift now and then right
ok it also said to bring in a snack or soda...my sis is the type to bring in chps,bake cupcakes etc etc..
so she gets to school,she has cupcakes,drinks for the kids and chips..the teacher goes ohh thanks the teachers are going to love this..my sis goes what do u mean?arent u having a party in the classroom?the teacher says no..the snacks are for the teachers who are celebrating after school??
ok is that not strange to send a note home asking for snacks for a teacher only party??

Gee send your niece to my school. My boss buys food, drinks and goodies for us the day we celebrate. If a parent wants to they get us a gift and that is it. I cant believe that BS!!!!

no its a private funded school...the school my other neices and nephews go to ps 58 cut pre-k out of the school this year so we had to find another place

I HAVE NEVER heard of this. They Banned teacher appreciation day from us teachers because the boss felt like it was asking for gifts and that was wrong...
AND THATS TEACHER APPRECIATION DAY!!!
