I do not reuse towels meaning after i shower they go right into the wash. I was told this weekend that i am crazy and should be reusing my towels. I know there is nothing wrong with it, i just cant. DH hangs his towel on the towel rack after his showers to reuse it but i swipe them and put them in the laundry and hang a clean one in its place. shhhhhhhh he doesnt know. Is there something wrong with me???

When you dry off, your body is usually clean no? We reuse the towels, since we go to the laundromat, I try to cut down on going there as much as we already do!
God what I wouldn't give for my own washer and dryer!

Honestly me and DH are 'trying' to go more GREEN. We do use the same towel and together for a couple of days. The towel is clean to me ,we are clean we when come out of the shower.
Lot's of Hotels are now asking for you to do the same - FYI. Saw it on our HM as well.

I agree with Gem. We definitely have been more earth friendly since moving into our own home. We can not justify doing numerous loads of laundry daily. It is such a waste of water. We reuse towels more than once.. heck, more than 3 times. DH uses them until they smell We hang the towels in a well ventilated area & they dry nice and quick and always stay fresh

we reuse until we do laundry. we come out of the shower clean so its not like we're wiping our dirty bodies all over it.

actually being that 'clean' is NOT healthy - when you erase and strip away all the bacteria on your body you create more problems.
I understand where your going but just think about how a yeast infection develops. You need that good bacteria

no, no, no.. I know I can't be the only one to do this: I have 2 towels.. A towel for my body & a towel for my hair. I dry my face with my hair towel.. My cooter I also do not dry with my body towel. That air dries- if i dont have time to waltz around in a towel, I dry with something disposable.. ew I wouldnt dry my cooch & then reuse it.. negative..
can't believe I just went into that much detail about my grooming

I have a routine too! i need a towel for my hair and one for my body. and i have a very strict routine for washing and drying everything

DH likes to throw the towels into the laundry right after he's done and it pisses me off. I like to use the towel at least twice. I dont see anything disgusting about it. Were wiping water off of our clean bodies.

DH and I share towels.. more than once.. we are clean people, so it's fine for us.. but we also alternate btwn 2 towels so it's ok..

here is what i don't understand.
you just took a shower, you are now CLEAN and bright & shiny.... why would you not want to reuse the towel again??
we reuse for 2-3 days and then it goes in the hamper.

All i have to say is if its clean enough for DH to put his face there after a shower I can re-use that towel

I use a separate towel for my hair and one for body. I don't share my towel with DH, I like having my own and he has his own. I let it air dry really well. After 2-3 uses, into the laundry it goes.
