hmm...haven't really hear much about that from the way the article sounds it seems to be more verbal & mental abuse then anything else.. or atleast i would hope so!

I think so too. Seems weird she only gave a 'teaser' though. We'll see what coems of it I guess. Glad she went country though.

uh oh...this one states 'physical'...who knows with the press these days.. could just be the start of another tabloid war???
I know seems shady. I was in the doctor's office this morning and the Insider made a statement about it, but of course I got called before they spoke about it. They made it seem like it was this big thing so I went online and didn't find much. I used to love her when she was with Nick.

My first thought was her father - he's too involved in her life/career... I REFUSE to believe it's Nick!! I love him! but then again, it could aalll be stupid publicity crap.

If she claims it's Nick she's just doing it to make him out to be the bad guy since she always looked like the bad one in that breakup....well at least to me. I am just blinded by Nick.

bad press is better than no press ... in a few weeks we'll hear about how 'people mis-interpretted my words'..blah blah blah - or atleast i hope so...because if she WAS abused then of course it's never okay..but she was just all of a sudden non-chelant about it i read another aticle and it was her response to being questioned about her music... she was saying how ' i never sing about anything i haven't been through' and then they went on to ask her about a particular song where she mentions 'abuse'...maybe she was just dumbfounded and didn't know what to say lol because i'm SURE she has people who write her songs...

Hmmmm, I say if it's true, then it's probably emotional/verbal abuse - and I'd call John Mayer as the culprit because he totally played her out.
I don't see anywhere where she said it was physical abuse. Whatev, without further info, this just seems like a case of 'why even bother mentioning it if you don't want to give ANY details???'
