First I heard about it was yesterday, but non of the things I read or tv teasers I saw gave any detials....

ETA: I also think she is referring more to verbal abuse than physical.

I think this artical twisted what she said. I dont see anything that has quoted her saying 'physical' but I may have missed something...

And as for the lyrics, I think she is trying to say just cus they dont hit you doesnt mean they are not abusing you. So Im really thinking she is referring to verbal not physical.

honestly---to me its utter CRAP. it JUST so happens she says the same thing in an interview---'i'd tell them to take their heart & run' about if someone was abused like her.....and it just so happens thats one of her songs. :rolleyes;

I think so too....especially how she talks about being made fun of in high school

hmm thats interesting....

but maybe she genuinely experienced something but didn't want to give all of the details bc of who the person was or for some other personal reason, and she felt that saying 'it happened to me' was enough. i dunno! i think bc shes a celeb, most ppl feel entitled to know the whole story. i admit it sounded super brief but just thinking.

its sad but true....***** 'cause the first single she ever put out was BEAUTIFUL...and then after that they molded her into the nitwit that that they wanted too....her voice and the way she moves her mouth too....it's all just so strange & it wasn't always that way..i dont get it lol...she needs a stupid voice to go with the 'celebrity' they created??? shame 'cause i used to like her..
