Indeed.com and all you do is pick what catergory you want and it searches alot of sites at once.

go to the teacher's board on LIF... a lot of us are on there.
Also, look in Newsday and the NYT ...most districts post in there.
Most LI districts have TA positions open all the time, because many TAs on the Island have actual teaching degreese so they leave when they get their own class.
My school is not hiring TAs right now, but i will let you know if that changes.

ETA: Any reputable public school district does NOT post on Criags List, Monster, etc. etc. or really any of those job sites. you're better off looking in the New York Times and on individual district websites. Also, try the BOCES websites... Their online system is www.olasjobs.org and you can update your resume on there. many district on LI and westchester are on there.
