either you love it or you hate it... Honestly, I love it.. Kate is a bit neurotic & the older girls- Maddie & Cara- are total brats, but the boys I can't even deal. I love them

I do like the show...but Kate gets under my skin. She is a bit too neurotic with her kids. I feel so bad for her husband and for Jody who is constantly watching the kids and Kate is constantly getting mad at her for doing things she doesn't agree with. Give me a break!! Let your kids be kids!

I do enjoy the show, and TiVo it each week.
As it was once said on LIF, one day Jon is going to snap and it'll be 'Jon plus 8 minus Kate'

I really enjoy the show and DH tells me all the time that I am going to be just like Kate when I am a mom. Say what you will about her but I bet her children are a joy to be around - unlike some of the brats out there today. I am just surprised that she lets Maddie get away with her attitude - I bet when the cameras are off she gets *the shoe*. Well, I would have anyway.
Mady is a brat but Cara is the sweet one... though I feel bad that they are EDITING Mady as the brat... you know? she's just a kid
my favorite is Aedan... (nt because of the name... I just love the glasses)

I have read that blog. And maybe I am just being very 'Pollyanna' about it but it actually made me HATE the blogger MORE than Kate. I just felt like she was so negative and horrible that it didn't make me NOT like Kate. . . not sure if that makes sense!

I mean seriously, all those little trips they take - and she always has them dressed, clean and ready to go. I know people that have trouble doing that with just one kid. I know she is kind of on the crazy, neurotic side but I think you kind of have to be with 8 kids. I mean if you weren't super organized & slighty neurotic with all those kids, you'd probably go crazy.

I remember that duggar freak said 4 was easier than 2. or something like that...
In a way, they keep each other occupied.. I can't tell you how much EASIER it is when I have an apt full of kids keeping aidan occupied instead of just him... However, I am fully aware I don't have to change their diapers, get them dressed etc etc...
8 HAS to be tough and I admire them for their perseverance... only thing I question is how easy would it be if they DIDN'T have a show giving them such an income.

That is true. When you have a few kids, they do tend to keep each other occupied which is a huge plus. Now, that Duggar lady is up to like what....24 kids or something??? That's just crazy!
But regardless, I still give Jon & Kate a lot of credit. Especially since they have 2 sets of multiples.
