Jon & Kate Plus 8

i Just read on another blog that kates friend Beth isnt on the show that often anymore bc the producer wanted to pay Beth a nd her husband Bob for filming at her house quite often and Kate told them NO they are not to get paid. So Beths Husband told the production crew they are no longer welcome in the home to tape.

ETA: Did you guys ever wonder what kind of job Beths Husband has, becasue there house is amazing

i read online he builds malls so i dunno if that means hes designs them or actually does construction

Vinny and I *LOVE* this show and make a point to watch it every Monday.

I kind of love Kate's attitude

I was just able to see Jodi's video on the blog. It was blocked at my job. I am so sad that it is all true. I will still watch it but it definitely changes how I feel about it.

I also don't watch the show religiously, but I love it when it's on. All those kids are too cute. Plus, I'm impressed by anyone who has 8 young kids and actually functions.

I mean seriously, all those little trips they take - and she always got them dressed, clean and ready to go. I know people that have trouble doing that with just one kid. I know she is kind of on the crazy, neurotic side but I think you kind of have to be with 8 kids. I mean if you weren't super organized & slighty neurotic with all those kids, you'd probably go crazy.

This is true... but I HONESTLY believe more than one kid is EASIER than just one...

I remember that duggar freak said 4 was easier than 2. or something like that...

In a way, they keep each other occupied.. I can't tell you how much EASIER it is when I have an apt full of kids keeping aidan occupied instead of just him... However, I am fully aware I don't have to change their diapers, get them dressed etc etc...

8 HAS to be tough and I admire them for their perseverance... only thing I question is how easy would it be if they DIDN'T have a show giving them such an income.

i can see more than one kid being easier in the case of the duggars because you have the olders ones to take care of the younger ones, but with 6 kids the same age? yes they can keep each other entertained but they're still all going through the same thing at the same time - teaching 6 kids to walk/potty train/changing their diapers? that's gotta be tough.

and in the beginning of the show (the special) kate still worked at her job as a nurse doing 16 hour shifts. i'd imagine she'd be doing the same without the show (it just allows her to be a stay at home mom i think).

and yes, i watch way too much of this show - i love it. and i really do like kate, maybe cuz i can see me being neurotic like her in certain circumstances.

wow!! i had read the blog a while back- someone from LIF posted it, and i just saw the video response from aunt Jodi! def. gives me a different perspective!

i mean, i love the show, i watch it religiously! but kate does annoy me from time to time when she constantly corrects her husband mid sentence, or how she 'love' slaps him..
it gets under my skin and i always yell out to the tv that someone needs to c0ck slap her!!!

but i do believe she is getting a bit greedy and acting very 'unchristian' like.
i feel bad for Jodi!!
