Jumping in on the what to wear posts...
We are going to a wedding this June for one of DH's friends. It's a Saturday wedding, 1:00 ceremony, 6:00 reception start time. Wedding is in PA.
I have two dress options to wear....the first one basically looks like this dress, only it is in coral. I can wear my gold heels with it, and the color looks awesome on me, but it's very plain, no embellishment. My dress doesn't have the little tie in front like the picture, but it's the same length and has the same straps coming from the center. It's a satiny polyester material.
Second option is my shower dress...it's a little dressier, satin, but my gold heels don't go with them, and I wore my gold flat sandals with them for my shower, and don't think that would be appropriate for a wedding...so I'd need to get new shoes, which I try to avoid at all costs because of my big azz feet and never being able to find anything. The bride was at my shower, so would it be weird to wear the same dress? Not that I think she's going to remember that detail on her wedding day LOL, but I don't know?
Both dresses are the same length...so which would you pick?
